Got several calls from this number plus about seven others from Central Africa, all between 11pm and 5 in the morn. Pretty annoying to be woken up like that.

This number rang me a little after midnight, and then I got about three more calls from somewhere in Central Africa with the code 0055 -0500. I honestly have no idea why anyone from Portugal or Central Africa would be trying to get in touch with me.

From midnight till about 7 in the morning, this number along with four others from the Central African Republic kept calling me 8 times. I just ignored them since I have no clue who they could be.

Between 11:30 pm and 7 in the morning, I got six missed calls from different numbers, most saying “Central African Republic,” and one apparently from Portugal. I’m using O2 as my network.

Just saw I had a missed call from this number in the middle of the night, around midnight. Don’t recognise anyone from Portugal so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

Tonight I got called like six times from numbers that looked alike. The last one buzzed at 01:57, rang twice and then just cut off. Numbers I caught were things like 023622782258, 023622782433, 023622782439 and 023622782441. Tried blocking some but they must have used others coz the calls kept coming.

I’m convinced the reason these calls come through in the middle of the night is to target people while they're dozing. They’ll ring once or twice then just cut off, hoping to disturb you enough that you call back out of concern or confusion. It’s a sneaky trick scammers use to catch folks off balance.

Seemed a bit fishy so I didn’t pick up.

Got calls from +351 223622782439 which they say is from Pombal, Leiria in Portugal, but then the same number +23622782437 shows up as Central African Republic. Definitely spam, so I wouldn’t bother calling back.

Got a ring around midnight, plus two other calls from different numbers. Really curious who’s been sharing my details. I’m with EE now, but I’ve had this number for more than ten years back when I was with O2.

There’s a definite reason why these calls come through in the middle of the night. They’re trying to catch folks when they’re dozing off. They’ll ring once or twice then cut off, hoping you’ll be half awake and call back, thinking there’s an emergency or something. It’s a sneaky trick scammers use to catch you unprepared.

Got a call just before midnight, one quick ring and then they cut off. They never called again after that.

The reason behind those calls in the middle of the night is pretty obvious - they aim to catch you while you’re asleep. They’ll ring once or twice and then just hang up, hoping that you’ll be groggy enough to call back, worrying that something might be wrong. It’s a sneaky trick scammers use to catch you off guard.

got a call at half eleven then again just once at midnight, then they hung up straight away. feels like they're trying to get you to call them back to find out who it was, then might hit you with a charge or something.

This number keeps ringing me, then stops, but when I don't pick up they call back again - total scam. If you try to block it, they'll just call from a number that's almost the same, but the last digit's different. Today alone I got four calls like that.

I have no idea who that was but I wouldn’t bother calling them back, sounds like a dodgy spam call to me.

These late night calls definitely have a purpose - they’re trying to catch you when you’re half asleep. They usually ring just once or twice and then stop, hoping you’ll wake up and call back straight away, thinking maybe an emergency or somethings up. It’s a sneaky trick scammers use to catch people off guard.

It only rang a single time before cutting off, clearly trying to trick me into calling them back and getting charged through the roof for it. Classic scam.

They called twice, once at half past eleven and again just before midnight. The second call just gave one ring then cut off. Seems like they’re hoping you’ll call back and then maybe hit you with some charges.
