Got a call from some automated voice telling me I’d been caught speeding and that I had fines and penalty points coming my way. It wasn’t a real person just some pre-recorded message. They even named a car make and model that I don’t own. The phone number was from Spain too.

Got two calls from a polite bloke who sounded really convincing. First one said I’d been seen on CCTV nicking some pricey oil from a shop about 150 miles from me. I told him to just hand it over to the police. Then he called again, saying I’d been drinking way too much at some party and wanted to chat about my drinking problem. I just ended the call straight away.

This number kept calling me repeatedly, about 7 times, with no caller ID showing. It was coming from Madrid, Spain. The man on the other end claimed I’d hit him, but I told him I hadn’t bumped into anyone. He then got really hostile, insisting I had and said he was planning on going through insurance to make a big claim. He was pretty nasty about it. I don’t even drive yet, just learning, so it freaked me out a lot.
