Just got a WhatsApp message from this number: +235 90 99 33 27. Looks like it's from Chad. The person said their name was Doreen, an HR Manager with Total Jobs. They promised I could earn thousands in just a few weeks and asked my age before going further. Pretty sure it’s a scam - watch out for this one!

Got a call from this number today, said it was from France but I’m here in the UK. They left a robotic message - first part in Chinese, then switched to an American accent. Fake call. Make sure you report every single scam call to the police so they can handle it. There’s an easy system set up for this. Just search for ‘action fraud’ and visit the UK police website. Find the phishing report page and scroll to the end to fill out a quick form. You don’t need to sign up or anything. In the free text space at the bottom, write any details about threats or rude language. Also, send screenshots of scam texts or emails to ‘repor[email protected]’. Reporting these scams helps stop more people getting caught out!!

Pretty sure they fake it to show a foreign number so you’re more likely to pick up. The #### ringing me is definitely from England. The only thing you can do is keep blocking these calls. Sadly, if they keep switching the fake number, there’s no way to stop them altogether.

Like others have said, these bank scammers are seriously relentless, ive blacklisted loads of their numbers. Sending all unknown calls straight to voicemail has helped cut down how often they ring, but if I just decline they end up calling like 3 times a day. This has been going on for weeks now and honestly I’m missing some really important calls coz I put unknowns straight to voicemail just to stop all the hassle.

They said they were from some stocks or shared company and asked for at least £200 to open an account. The bloke spoke proper English, really clear. When I told them I wasn’t interested, they kept hassling me to explain why and wouldn’t stop calling. Even after I blocked the number, they kept ringing me from numbers that looked almost the same.

+34 918 30 02 66 rang me about renewing my computer’s antivirus but NO WAY, it’s definitely a SCAM! Antivirus subscriptions get renewed online or through the company, not by random phone calls. This scam seems to be coming from India but they’re using a Madrid, Spain phone number to trick you. BEWARE!

I think this is a common scam with some trading site. They seem to change the story depending on who they talk to. They called me about using their platform for trading. When I asked them to take my number off their list, they flat out refused. I said I'd be reporting them and they just laughed and said "good f#### luck". So I just ended the call.

So far today, I’ve gotten about 5 calls (and it’s just gone 10.30 am) all showing up as from West Flanders Belgium. Every time I block one number, another pops up with a different Belgian number. Finally picked up the most recent call and straight away asked what they wanted. The woman said if I answered her questions, the calls would stop. Honestly, can’t share what I told her here!! This is driving me nuts 🤬
