Got a call from someone saying they were from an investment/education firm called 'The Learning Zone . Net'. They said the company is UK based but the call came from a French number. Turns out, the company isn't registered in the UK and their website is actually registered in the Netherlands. I spoke to a bloke named Tom who tried to sell me something, then he passed me over to a woman - either Sylvie or Sylvia - from their finance department. She was attempting to get my payment info without doing any proper KYC checks or verification. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.
