6 yearsI received a call from a woman claiming to represent Amazon Prime, insisting that my account had been compromised and that I owed £99.99 for my subscription. The issue is, I’ve never subscribed to Amazon Prime in my life! I promptly hung up and contacted Amazon's customer support for clarification, and they assured me that all was well with my account. To my astonishment, she rang me again today with the very same tale, attempting to coax me into signing into my laptop. I firmly declined, recognising that they were likely trying to trick me into downloading something that would give them access to my device. Stay vigilant and don’t be fooled by such scams!Amazon PrimeAmazon6 yearsGot a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying my account got hacked and they’d take £99.99 for the subscription. I don’t even have Prime! When I told the caller it’s a scam, she kept pushing me to log into my laptop. I reckon they wanted me to download stuff so they could get into my computer. I just told her to find real work and hung up.Amazon PrimePrimeSubmit Your Own Report (05 44 94 37 90)
