Got a call from a robotic woman’s voice, saying something about "bank security", but she never mentioned which bank exactly. She went on about two charges, one of £200 and another £100, taken from my account. Totally fishy! No one ever said my name or my bank’s name during the call. Watch out, it’s definitely a scam!

I picked up the phone and as soon as I did, the line went dead straight away.

Yesterday I got a call from 0033142796338, and today another one came through. Both times, the line was completely silent and I just stayed quiet. Then, after a short while, they ended the call. Seems like these calls might be connected.

Just got one of those typical scam calls with a robotic voice telling me to press 1 or 2, then going on about some money being taken out of my account. Funny enough, I’d just finished watching that BBC Scam Interceptors show a couple hours before. Honestly, shouldn’t there be a big nationwide or even global effort to tackle these pests once and for all?
