I'm currently residing in the Netherlands and I've noticed that this number has been ringing me multiple times throughout the week while I'm at my job. Just for a bit of amusement, I decided to play along and act as if I was keen on making some modifications to my computer setup. Given my background as an IT specialist, I’m well-versed in the various dialogues associated with each version of Windows. They prompted me to make a change that I was aware isn't even an option. To everyone reading this, I urge you-DO NOT alter anything on your system! Please report such calls as often as you can and consider having your phone provider block this number!

Just got calls from these numbers too: 003256987452 and 003253388245. Be careful, they ask you to change settings on your computer - dont ever do that or share any personal info! I once played along to see what they wanted and they tried to get me to change something that clearly wasnt possible. I called them out on it and gave them a proper earful for being scammers! Best thing is to just slam the phone down as quick as you can.

I received a call from an individual speaking English with an Indian lilt, claiming to be contacting me about my Windows laptop. Quite surprisingly, they inquired, "You do use Windows, correct?" At that moment, I knew it was a scam attempt. In response, I feigned ignorance and said, "Pardon?" and added that I actually use Linux. The moment I mentioned that, they abruptly ended the call. I’ve got to say, this feels a bit dodgy. I answered a call and a lady with a strong Indian accent claimed to be reaching out because my computer had been throwing up errors lately.
