I'm based in the Netherlands and during my working hours, these calls kept coming through a few times a week. One day, I decided to mess with them for a bit of fun and acted like I was ready to make the IT changes they wanted. Since I work as an IT specialist, I'm familiar with all the prompts on different Windows versions. They asked me to do something that doesn't even exist in the system. Seriously, never agree to alter anything on your device! Make sure you report these calls and ask your phone provider to block the number!

Just got calls from these numbers too: 003256987452 and 003253388245. Be careful, they ask you to change settings on your computer - dont ever do that or share any personal info! I once played along to see what they wanted and they tried to get me to change something that clearly wasnt possible. I called them out on it and gave them a proper earful for being scammers! Best thing is to just slam the phone down as quick as you can.

I got a call from someone talking English but with an Indian accent. He claimed he was calling about my Windows computer and then asked, "You use Windows, don’t you?" I had a feeling it was dodgy straight away. I told him, "What? I use Linux," and he just cut the call. The number was 003256466851.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the 'windows department' about an issue with my internet. When I asked them which company they worked for, since they only mentioned the department, they just ended the call. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

I denk dat dit echt niet pluis was. Ik nam dus op en kreeg een vrouw aan de lijn die in een Indiaas-Engelse tongval sprak. Ze zei dat mijn pc de laatste dagen storingen vertoonde, wat raar is want ik heb mijn computer sinds het weekend niet eens gebruikt. Ze probeerde me te overtuigen dat ik bepaalde dingen moest doen om het te fixen. Toen ik zei dat ze waarschijnlijk m'n bankgegevens wilde, werd ze ineens boos. Toen hing ik maar op.

Op vrijdag 23 september kreeg ik één oproep, en de dag ervoor, donderdag 22 september, belden ze mij zelfs twee keer.

Toen ik besloot terug te bellen, kreeg ik te horen dat het nummer niet in gebruik was. Heel vreemd!
