Got a call from 0031433020392 today, saying I owe taxes for a decade and might face jail or get my benefits stopped. Problem is, I've been exempt for even longer because of my disability. The voice sounded kinda American, and if HMRC really sent this, they've really bungled it since the start of the message sounded cut off, like missing the first bit of a word. Feels dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Like others have said, I got a recorded message claiming there was a warrant issued for my arrest due to unpaid taxes.

I never called them back, not sure who they were anyway. After reading some of the reviews, I’m pretty convinced this is just a scam. Watch out, people!

somebody called saying im gonna get arrested for not paying my taxes or something, then told me not to press 1. i have no idea what they’re trying to pull with this one.

The call dropped right into some automated message telling me to punch in ‘my security code’ and then a bit about benefits. Totally uninvited, and honestly, seems quite dodgy to me.

Got a robo call supposedly from HMRC, saying I had an arrest warrant over unpaid taxes. They kept telling me to hit 1 right away to sort the payment. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number, they claimed I had an arrest warrant because I hadn’t paid some tax. They tried to scare me into paying up straight away to avoid getting arrested. Totally a scam if you ask me.
