I just got a call from this number and it disconnected the moment I picked up. It showed a location in Malawi, but tbh, with the right tech it’s super easy for them to fake any phone number or region. Could be some dodgy company or scam group in your own area running data collection schemes aiming to steal identities later, especially since loads of sites now use phone verification for sign-ins. Sending the call through a developing country with weak law enforcement makes it tougher for UK cops to trace who’s behind it. I’ve blocked it.

Dont pick up this number, its a scam. They seem to get peoples info from places like Google Play and other apps. Its kinda like those annoying cookie pop-ups on websites, but instead of clicking, when you answer the call you’re basically telling them your info is legit and working. They use this for stealing and scamming. WATCH OUT! If u accidentally pick up, make sure to block the number straight away!
