Thanks to my caller display, I could tell that it was likely a suspicious call even before answering. As soon as I mentioned that they were trying to deceive me, the caller abruptly ended the call and used offensive language.

I received a phone call from someone claiming that my computer had been infected with dangerous viruses. However, I noticed that they didn't address me by my name. So, I requested them to confirm my name and postcode, which they were unable to do. Realizing it was a scam, they quickly hung up. A man with a distinct foreign accent identified himself as a representative from BT and informed me that my internet had been compromised overnight. Suspicious of his intentions, I inquired how much money he intended to unlawfully obtain from me. In response, he yelled, demanding my attention. Refusing to be intimidated, I raised my voice and firmly stated, "No, you need to listen to me! I do not have BT broadband!" This caused him to abruptly end the call.

Additionally, he will request you to input certain details in order to access your computer. However, a heated argument erupted when I requested him to disclose my BT account information.

This morning at 8:30, I received a call from someone who spoke in poor English and proceeded to angrily accuse me of having viruses on my PC, resulting in my internet getting disconnected. I decided to go along with their rant for a little while, but eventually, I couldn't take it anymore and told them to leave me alone and warned that I would report them to Ofcom or the police. I have now blocked their number.

There was a scam where someone claimed to be BT Technical Support, accusing me of using the internet for illegal activities. They tried to trick me into allowing remote access to my laptop to "fix" the issue. I decided to play along, pretending to go along with their plan. I suggested turning on my laptop and letting them run their diagnostics while I put the phone next to the TV where my daughter was watching a loud children's program. Meanwhile, I turned up the volume and waited for them to realize they had been tricked. After 10 minutes, I discovered that they had hung up. It's a shame that scammers like this exist.

This morning, I received a phone call from an unknown number. The caller informed me that my computer was downloading unauthorized content and threatened to disconnect my internet service for a span of three months. In response, I promptly decided to shut down my computer, causing the call to abruptly end. The reason I answered the call was because it woke me up, and in my half-asleep state, I mistakenly assumed it was somebody I knew checking up on me.
