Over the past couple of days, I got missed calls from two separate numbers but both had the same area code. I couldn’t figure out what the point of the call was or what might happen if I picked up, so I just went ahead and blocked them. I definitely don’t know anyone from Somalia, so it felt safer to ignore.

Like loads of folks say, these calls are a right pain now. If the number’s not saved in my phone, I just ignore it. You’d think someone in the government would sort this cold calling nonsense out, but don’t hold your breath - they’re too lazy to do anything, probably comfy sitting on their behinds all day.

The initial call was the only one that paused for my voicemail but left nothing, the rest just rang twice or thrice before cutting off.
