I've been receiving calls from this number and several similar ones quite frequently, so I've gone ahead and blocked them all off. The initial time I picked up the phone, I was met with nothing but a robotic voice which I didn’t waste time on; I hung up straight away! It’s still irritating, though, as the phone rings first before I manage to block them.

It was Talktdalk that rang me when I wasnt home. I checked the number and realised I musta pressed it by accident. I cancelled right away once I caught on, but saw a £16 fee on my statement. So I ended up blocking them.

I reckon that calls from this number are originating from India, as the voice on the line just keeps prattling on without any real engagement. It honestly seems like a pre-recorded message. I've gone ahead and blocked the number, yet it still manages to ring once before it ceases - such a nuisance! This really ought to be looked into, particularly for the sake of elderly individuals. In fact, I had to block all unknown calls on my mother's phone, who’s 85, just to keep her safe from this sort of bother.
