Got a missed call late last night from a strange number, seemed like a wangiri scam. Looked it up here and found out what was going on. On the 6th of April 2020, at about 1.09 am, this number +245955392429 tried to ring me. I didnt pick up as I was fast asleep then, but Ive gone ahead and blocked it since.

Blocking these numbers doesn’t really help. There’s info both here and on the last page about what you can actually do to try and put a stop to these calls. But honestly, it’ll probably need loads of us reporting these wangiri scams before the police bother to take any proper action.
