I’ve just had a rather strange call from this number, claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service. The chap on the other end had quite a thick Indian accent and went on to explain, in a rather roundabout way, that they’re supposedly enhancing their services to include blocking international calls. After what felt like an endless stream of chatter, he mentioned a nominal fee for this upgrade. I firmly stated that I wouldn’t be paying anything. It left me feeling quite uneasy, especially since he seemed to know my complete address.

We kept seeing this number pop up in our missed calls, and this afternoon we finally picked up on their third try. A guy with a strong accent claimed he was calling from some call blocking company and wanted to know how we usually pay our phone bills. We weren’t about to share any payment info over the phone, so we declined and he just ended the call.

I've had a couple of calls this week claiming to be from TPS. The callers had strong Indian accents and their English wasn't great. I ended up putting the phone down on both occasions.

I never answer calls from numbers I don’t know. This particular one keeps ringing my landline all different times and never leaves a voicemail. I’d block it, but my blocked list is already packed!

Received a call from this number claiming to be affiliated with TPS, inquiring if I wished to join their call blocking service. When I pointed out that I was already registered, the caller abruptly cut the line. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

I just ended the call straight away. All I got was some automated "Goodbye" message.

Got a call from abroad with loads of questions about TPS. They wanted my visa info to keep the service going, even though it's meant to be free. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I had a ring from this number not long ago. The caller, a gentleman with an Indian twang and rather broken English, informed me that they were enhancing my TPS service to help block those pesky unsolicited calls. He kept droning on, and then handed me over to his so-called supervisor, who merely parroted the same spiel yet again. It seemed quite dodgy to me, so I decided to terminate the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the Delhi Telephone Preference Service. They mentioned my address and postcode, but the name they used was completely wrong. They then requested the right name, but at that point, I chose to end the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Not long ago, I received a call from someone with a thick accent, rambling on about a Call Blocking Service. I ended the call without a second thought.

I received a call from this number, and the person claimed they were from a call blocking company, inquiring about the expiry date of my direct debit. I informed them I didn’t possess one. They proceeded to ask for the expiry date on my Visa card, to which I promptly said farewell and hung up. It was quite alarming as they had my name and address and their English was rather poor. Very concerning indeed.

A few days back, this number contacted my mother-in-law, who is quite advanced in years. Unfortunately, she struggles with her hearing, making it impossible for her to grasp what the caller was trying to convey. Perhaps it's for the best! Nonetheless, this led her to fret that something might have gone awry within the family, prompting her to ring around to check on everyone’s well-being.

I just got a call from this number whilst I was with my elderly dad. When I picked up, the caller promptly hung up. Having seen the comments surrounding this number, it’s left me worried that they might be preying on older or vulnerable individuals.
