Today I got a call from a number beginning with 0022, which I immediately ignored on my mobile. The prefix itself was suspicious, and seriously, who do I know in Niger? No one at all. The call went straight to my voicemail and when I finally checked it, to my surprise, there was a message in English. It was one of those fake accident alerts again. Yeah, right, as if I’ve been in some crash or something!

Got a call earlier from a number starting with 0022, I just blocked it straight away on my phone. The prefix itself was a dead giveaway - who the heck do I know in Niger anyway? Nothing at all. Anyway, they left a message, so I decided to check it out. To my surprise, the voice was English! Of course, it was one of those “you've been in an accident” scams. Yeah, right, not falling for that one again!
