This number has been ringing me up every morning for ages, sometimes as early as 7:15am. The moment I answer, they hang up straight away, so I guess they’re just checking when I might be free. Seriously, who’s behind paying folks to do this? It’s bonkers that this kind of nuisance keeps happening so early, disturbing people’s mornings and on top of that, probably trying to pull a scam!

They claimed to be from Windows support, but I called them out as scammers right away. I just ended the call and blocked the number.

I got a call from a bloke with a heavy Nigerian accent, claiming he was from the Windows Tech Support team. He told me there was an issue with my PC and asked me to turn it on. I said, "It’s off right now, but hold on, I’ll switch it on straight away, great to hear from you again!" Then I blew into my referee whistle three times really loudly. After a pause, I asked if he was still on the line, and to my surprise, he’d vanished!

Got a call earlier from a woman who sounded Indian. I just listened for a while, then suddenly told her I knew she was a total scammer and told her to bugger off proper quick.

Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent trying the typical trick of making me turn on my computer so they can get in. What freaked me out was hearing other people in the background doing the same scam with other folks. Total classic con job.

Got a call today from someone claiming my computer had issues. The bloke sounded like he was from Pakistan. I told him I couldn’t see properly because I’d left my glasses in the car. He stuck around for about 10 minutes waiting. Then I mentioned I’d googled and found the term ‘scammers’ linked to calls like his. He just slammed the phone down on me. Totally clueless.

Its a scam call from some call centre in Asia. Honestly, why do these scams keep going on? Can't the authorities do something about it?

They keep calling really early in the morning before I'm even awake, and then again late at night. Always the same nonsense about computers and some American or overseas voices. I keep telling them I don’t have a computer and just to leave me alone, but they never seem to get the message. They also bother my elderly neighbours, who definitely don’t use computers either! It’s got to be scammers, right? I can't imagine anyone being daft enough to keep answering or give them any details?

When I asked where their business was located, he said Marblehead in Ohio, USA, sounded like he had an Indian accent. Then I asked him for the postal code of their business, and after a pause, the phone just went dead. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from a 07-50 number, some Indian woman claiming my computer was infected with a virus and needed to get into it to sort it out. I told her I have four different computers connected, so which one was she talking about? She just kept insisting it was my ‘main’ one, but I pointed out I don’t really have just one main computer, they’re all important. She got really pushy after that, so I just hung up. Don’t bother with this rubbish, especially so early in the morning.
