On Christmas Day and the preceding Friday, I received a rather persistent series of calls-about three a day, if memory serves. Curious, I returned one of the calls and was greeted by a woman speaking traditional Chinese. I simply told her not to ring this number again before hanging up. I've taken to blocking the numbers on my iPhone, but it seems they’ve got a seemingly endless supply of different number endings, as I keep getting fresh calls each day. Like another commenter mentioned, I also use a three SIM card, which has led me to suspect there may be a leak of my data somewhere. Just a heads up-what turned out to be a brief 10-15 second call set me back £4! Truly, it’s best to steer clear!

I was up by chance, but honestly, it’s a Bank Holiday for goodness sake, and most folks would still be asleep then.
