They rang me like 7 times in just one day! Left voicemails but you couldn’t make out a word, either the line was rubbish or they just didn’t bother to speak properly. No clue who they even are but I’ve blocked them now, so fed up with these annoying calls.

Received a rather dubious call earlier from someone claiming to be from Mauritania, attempting to persuade me into an online profit scheme. They seemed oddly familiar with my name, which set off alarm bells. I promptly declined their offer, hung up, and swiftly blocked the number. Best to be cautious!

Totally dodgy call - honestly, do they have zero shame? I couldn’t catch which company she pretended to represent, but I just pretended to be clueless and went with the whole act! She asked for my bank card details, so I gave her a bunch of nonsense like “blah blah blah” and, surprise surprise, she hung up on me. Really hope the government steps up and cracks down on these calls, they must be so upsetting for the older or more vulnerable folks out there!

Same here, got a call from someone saying they were with "Trade[###]" but the connection was awful, really hard to understand the lady. She was super pushy, gave me all the usual sales spiel that just felt like a scam. I had to keep cutting her off and ask her to remove my number from their list.

From what I could tell, Trade[###] is operated by Lead Securities Ltd based in Cyprus, so it might be legit. Still, personally, I wouldn’t risk it. Ended up blocking them.

Got a call from an Asian woman around 3:15 pm, she asked if I had a moment to chat, but when I said only if she was quick, she just hung up. Didn’t catch the company name clearly, but there were loads of people talking in the background. I’ve told my mates on Facebook about it, just in case it’s one of those scams trying to record voices to get into bank accounts. Also double-checked my bank security settings to be safe.

They just asked for me by first name like "Hello, is that Michael?" When I asked who it was, they just ended the call.

This person somehow knew my name and started with "how are you today". Then they claimed to be from some company, but I couldn't catch the name. Afterwards, they asked for my credit card number. There were loads of voices in the background. The caller's English was really poor, and the thick accent made it really hard to understand.

My Samsung S7 does this thing where it checks incoming calls that aren’t saved and it’s pretty spot on most of the time. This number actually showed as “Marked as Scam” - never seen that before with my phone.
