some woman rang me about shares i supposedly sold decades ago, like 50 years back or something. apparently, there’s been a load of scams over the years saying i’m owed money. i hung up on her, but then she called straight back after a couple of minutes and started having a go at me for ending the call. quite annoying really.

I keep getting calls every day because someone in Germany must have had their contacts stolen, and my number got picked up from their address book. It’s been nonstop!

I’ve received calls from this number, and it appears to be dodgy! They’re posing as a management team supposedly from the US, but I reckon it’s just a scam. Best to steer clear!

It’s the same story every Sunday; I can set my watch by it! Just as they reach the finish line, the connection drops without fail. They claim to be linked with Government energy services, but it all feels rather dodgy to me.

I received a call from a chap with an Asian accent, and it was quite the noisy affair, what with all the racket from a call centre in the background. He was inquiring about my TalkTalk broadband!

I recently received a rather unsettling phone call from this number, with a chap claiming to be from my internet service provider, TalkTalk. He informed me that there was a virus infecting their servers, supposedly caused by something I'd downloaded. He insisted that I power up my computer and await his guidance. I politely expressed my gratitude for his warning but mentioned that I would prefer to have a professional take a look at the issue instead. After that, he thanked me and promptly ended the call.

I got a rather peculiar phone call from an individual of Asian descent using this number, inquisitively probing me about a few details such as my phone provider. Oddly enough, he insisted that I respond with a 'yes' after posing another query. At that point, I found myself utterly disheartened, especially when he claimed I wouldn’t be bothered again. I retorted with, "You claimed that last time!" before hanging up. These callers are such a nuisance! It seems they’re part of a call centre operation, yet there's no way to prevent them from pestering you!

I just received a call on my phone inquiring about my latest "vehicle mishap." The moment I mentioned that I had an incident in Mumbai involving a rickshaw, the caller abruptly hung up. How peculiar!

I've had this persistent number ringing my phone, and initially, it was just silence on the other end. However, these days, I've taken to ignoring the calls as soon as I see that number pop up. They don't bother to leave a voicemail either. Is there any method to block this number? I've already signed up with the Telephone Preference Service.

I’ve been bombarded by calls from this number lately. It all kicked off after I declined to share my information with a telecom firm that calls itself Millennium Talk. Just like others have noted, the caller was an Asian gentleman with rather poor command of English. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

Received a call from this number, and I greeted them multiple times, but there was no response whatsoever. It’s clearly some sort of automated dialler, leaving me hanging until I finally heard a robotic "goodbye." I'm absolutely fed up with these incessant calls, especially since I'm on the TPS register. Yet, it's only the legitimate companies that actually adhere to the regulations. It seems any unknown caller should be treated with suspicion and considered a potential scam!

Received a call from someone purporting to be associated with a governmental organisation, supposedly providing assistance with debt payments, or some such thing. The caller was an Indian gentleman whose grasp of English was rather poor, and seemed quite confused when I requested any information be sent via post. After he hung up on me, I dialled 1471 and discovered this number...

This number has been ringing me at the crack of dawn, and when I answer, there's a hush for roughly ten seconds before a robotic voice chimes in with a curt “goodbye” and promptly disconnects. It's incredibly irritating!

So, yesterday someone rang me claiming to be “Jessica” from TalkTalk, asking me to turn on my computer to look at some info. Funny thing is, I’d got a call like that the day before. I told them I wasn’t convinced they were genuine and reckoned they were the same lot who scammed me a few weeks back. Both times, the caller hung up once I said that. I’ve since checked with TalkTalk themselves, and they said they never make calls like that, so it was definitely another scam trying to catch me out.

I received a dodgy call claiming to be from TalkTalk. Their goal was clearly to trick me into letting them have remote control of my computer by following their dodgy instructions. After doing a bit of digging online, it seems some customer data has been compromised from foreign call centres. So, what I do is play along, responding with a polite 'absolutely' to whatever they propose, then pretend to switch on my device and make myself scarce for a good quarter of an hour in the stairwell. By the time I return, they've usually lost interest!

I've been inundated with calls from these numbers, sometimes receiving them six or seven times a day. Each time, they're purporting to be from TalkTalk, insisting that I log in to verify my account information. This has been dragging on for weeks now. Initially, I kindly declined to share any details, but their approach has swiftly turned hostile. TalkTalk has been utterly useless; they claimed they had blocked the number, yet here I am, still receiving these persistent calls. To add insult to injury, I’m ex-directory, which raises suspicions that someone within TalkTalk is obviously leaking customer information.

Since I parted ways with Talk Talk, this number has been incessantly contacting me. It's as if Talk Talk has peddled my details once I ceased being a client. I received a staggering ten calls within a mere hour - it's relentless! I can't seem to get a moment's peace, as my phone just won't stop ringing. Clearly, there's a scammer at play here.

I had a rather amusing incident where I received a call from a chap with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He insisted that I should log into a specific website that would allow him remote access to my computer. With nothing pressing on my agenda, I decided to play along for about an hour, providing him with an array of excuses to avoid his request. I told him my Wi-Fi had dropped out, then feigned a sudden power outage - all rather entertaining. When I initially answered the call, I asked for his location, and the address he provided (35 Regent Rd.) turned out to be a phantom. Upon confronting him with this revelation, he promptly handed me over to his 'supervisor.' After quite the back-and-forth, we settled on him ringing me back in the morning. I offered to call him instead if he could share his number, but apparently, that wasn’t advisable. Curious, isn’t it?

I got a ring from a chap with an Asian accent purporting to represent Microsoft, attempting to persuade me to log onto a site that would allow him entry to my computer. I decided to mess him about for an hour-had nothing pressing to attend to-fabricating various reasons for not complying with his request. I spun tales like a sudden loss of internet connectivity and a mysterious power outage. When I first answered, I inquired about where he was calling from. The address he provided (35 Regent Rd.) turned out to be fictitious. When I confronted him about this, he promptly transferred me to his ‘supervisor’. After we sorted through the numerous complications, we settled on him ringing me back in the morning. I expressed my willingness to call him if he could share his number, but he insisted it wouldn’t be wise.

Every time I answer this number, I’m met with silence. It’s as though they disconnect the moment I pick up! I have a sneaking suspicion they’re raking in a commission for every call they make, no matter if anyone actually chatters on the other end or not!
