Watch out for this dodgy robocall claiming to be from Amazon Prime. They tell you that £39.99 was taken from your bank and say to cancel by pressing 1. It’s definitely a trick to scare you, especially around Christmas when people are distracted. If you fall for it, they’ll probably try to grab your bank info under the guise of a refund, but really they’ll just drain your account. Best to ignore it and have a happy Christmas!

I just received a dodgy automated call that was masquerading as Amazon Prime! The voice on the line claimed that £39.99 had been withdrawn from 'your bank account' and instructed me to 'press 1' if I wished to cancel the subscription. I can't help but think this is a clever ruse designed to catch people off guard, especially with the festive season fast approaching. It’s all too easy to get flustered and not think straight when you’re busy with holiday preparations. Once these scoundrels get their hands on your banking info under the guise of processing a 'refund', they’ll likely abscond with your funds! Just don’t engage with them! Wishing you all a lovely Christmas!
