A mate of mine got a call saying that his Visa card had been charged £600 and I’m pretty sure it’s just a trick to scare people. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

I got a call from a dodgy number that said my Visa account was hacked and somehow £600 had been withdrawn. They told me to press 1 if I hadn’t made the payment. When I checked, the call actually originated from Egypt. Suspicious much! I just hung up straight away.
