Got a call from this number and the person wanted to talk to my husband, but he passed away like two years ago. I told them no and just hung up straight away.

This number rang me today but I didn’t pick up. They had also phoned yesterday about some washing machine warranty that had supposedly run out. When I asked the caller to tell me the brand of our machine, he hurriedly said it applied to every brand. I just replied thanks but no thanks. I reckon some folks might get tricked and end up handing over their bank info. Quite risky stuff.

Got a call from someone claiming there was an issue with our bank account. We hung up straight away and added the number to our block list.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Appliance Aftercare UK, telling me it was time to renew my washing machine’s cover. I asked a few questions and they just cut the call straight away. They did sound pretty legit, so just watch out for that.
