Got a call from a man with an Asian accent who already had my name and postcode. He asked me to verify my details, but I said I needed to know who he was first, then he just ended the call. Received a call earlier today about an issue with my computer. The caller insisted that I enter a series of commands on my keyboard. I fibbed and said I had, but nothing improved at all. I eventually pointed out that I was only wasting their time as they were mine, which led to an angry tirade from them before they abruptly disconnected. It’s high time something is done about this! But what can be done?

The guy called, said he was Michael from BT Broadband, had this sort of Asian accent. Even when I told him it wasn't me and he was asking for someone by my name, he just hung up in the end.
