They called me two times within the same hour, first call was completely silent. When they rang back the second time, a woman called Sylvia started speaking really quickly, when she took a breath I told her to slow down and speak more clearly but then she just ended the call. Seeing other reviews makes me think I've been getting loads of calls like this recently.

I got a random call from someone saying they were with BT call blocking. When i asked for more info, they got really annoyed and told me to just hang up if i didn’t trust them. Also, the number they were calling from definitely wasn’t the London one they said it was. Quite dodgy!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number, claiming to be from BT. The caller was inquiring whether I had experienced any nuisance calls on my line. I confirmed that I had, and she then assured me that she could help resolve the issue. She proceeded to verify my address, which I confirmed, followed by questions about my phone number. Then, she curiously wanted to know if my payment details were still valid, asking if I was using the same bank card or account number. I replied in the affirmative, but when she mentioned a card ending in a specific sequence, I realised something wasn't right and said no. At that point, she asked for my card details, which prompted me to hang up. She called me back, rather insistent, querying why I cut the conversation short. I firmly stated that I was not disclosing my card information and requested her to cease calling me again.

I got a call from a bloke speaking really bad English, claiming he was from some kind of ‘call blocking department’. I told him I already have that set up through BT, and trying not to sound too smug, I said I’d be putting his number on my block list too - which I obviously have done.

They rang me up about some nuisance calls and kept asking for my bank or card info. I just told them there’s no way I’m handing that over.

I got a call from someone asking if I’d been getting annoying calls, then out of the blue, they started quizzing me about my direct debit and even asked for my credit card details. When I said I didn’t trust them and thought they were up to no good, they just hung up on me.

This woman called and said she could stop all the annoying calls we keep getting. She told me my mum had contacted them, so I asked when that happened. She said about 4 or 5 years back. I had to tell her my mum died 9 years ago. She just ended the call straight away.

Try calling from a number labelled as Churchill on your mobile, they usually just hang up straight away and never bother to ring you back.

Got a ring from some call centre bloke who knew my name, started yapping about the TPS and asked if I was getting telemarketing calls. Told him I was, mainly from him, then just dropped the call. Blocked the number straight away.
