I got a call from someone claiming to be with (Staffordshire!) county council, saying it was about an accident linked to my number and the NHS. Thing is, I never made any such call! They also had no clue who I was, so I called the muppet out on his nonsense and then he just dropped the call. It's awful, honestly, makes me worried for the elderly or others who might actually believe this scam. Proper disgrace!
