It seems like these people could do with a bit of assistance, to be honest.

The initial time they called, the chap mentioned something regarding my computer, which prompted me to hang up. Ever since that moment, we've been inundated with calls from them-at least two a day! We’re supposed to be ex-directory, and I only just altered our number. It’s utterly infuriating!

As soon as I picked up, the caller just dropped the line straight away. I had a similar scam call on a different phone before, but it seemed like part of the same sort of scheme. When the 'Microsoft bloke' rang last time, I warned him I’d track him down and make him regret messing with me. That deterred them for about seven calls. Now, a couple of years later, they're at it again. If anyone else gets this number ringing repeatedly and you’re sure it’s the same scam, I’d suggest getting the loudest whistle you can find and give it a few sharp blasts. It really seems to put them off.

This number rang me claiming that my computer was infected with a virus. Being in the IT field myself, I politely declined their help and requested their information. Since then, they've bothered me four times, becoming increasingly rude with each call. I think it's about time to block them for good!

Absolute con artist! I completely stood my ground and told him where to shove it, thinking he wouldn’t get one over on me. Then, out of nowhere, this bloke with a thick accent starts talking nonsense, suggesting I should sell my daughter before he cut the call. I was livid!

Got calls all the time from some stranger trying to offer computer cleaning services. Definitely sounds like it's from abroad and pretty annoying. Might be dangerous for people who might believe it.

Received a call from this number around 3:08 PM on the 14th of May. Initially, the chap was courteous, but soon became quite insistent. I inquired about his name, but his accent was so thick that I couldn't decipher it at all. When I probed further and asked for his company's name, he claimed to represent the Windows Service Centre. He went on about some supposed virus affecting my computer and insisted that I required some sort of specialised antivirus software which he was willing to sell. He mentioned he was based in Cardiff, which I found somewhat reassuring, as I could pop by his office in the morning with my laptop. However, he stated that they don't conduct repairs at the office but would be available to meet up. I cheekily suggested the local police station, where individuals like him could face justice. And just like that, he terminated the call! Let’s not entertain these shady characters; they truly have no place in our community!

I got a call today from someone saying that hackers had been trying to mess with my PC for about two weeks, trying to use it for dodgy stuff. The bloke said he was from Microsoft and that if I did what he told me, he could sort out all the problems. He mentioned he was ringing from Birmingham or somewhere thereabouts. I just told him he was a fraud and told him to buzz off.

Got a call from someone claiming my laptop and tablet were infected with a virus because of my emails, and they said they could fix it for me. The accent sounded a bit foreign. I told them I already have antivirus on my laptop and mentioned I don’t even own a tablet.

This person contacted us claiming there was an issue with our computer system. Given that we’ve previously been defrauded, we enquired how he came by our phone number. He stated that it was obtained from our neighbour. The problem? Our neighbour's name is fictitious. It’s clearly a scam, a total con artist at work!

Fraud alert! This is definitely a con! Stay vigilant, as it seems highly dubious!

I received a call from this number, claiming that my computer was compromised and infested with viruses. They really pressured me into switching my device on and ultimately demanded a payment of £160. It felt quite dodgy, to say the least!

Just like the others have mentioned, I found myself in a rather similar situation. The chap couldn't even ascertain what brand my computer was! He became quite hostile when I probed them about their company name, responding in a rush and with a complete lack of clarity. After a bit of back and forth, I finally managed to wrangle out a mention of Quick Solutions. The only tactic that worked to get him to back off and provide me with some details was to say I’d phone them back. Here’s what he relayed to me:
A rather peculiar phone number - 1424422292, which is eerily close to my own! And an extension number of 1003.
He called himself Ryan Gosling, which made me chuckle; he seemed quite curious about my laughter.
Interestingly, the number they used to call me, which I noted afterwards, was 002045298889.

I received a rather pushy call urging me to switch on my computer and inspect it for viruses. When I mentioned I was away from my desk, they became quite hostile, insisting I turn it on immediately. I ended the conversation there. Be cautious, it sounds like a nasty scam related to viruses!

I experienced the same thing! They hung up as soon as I answered. It was at 18:17 this evening.

Could you believe it? The moment I answered the call, they just hung up on me!
