Honestly, they really could use some serious supervision.

The first call I got from them was about my computer or something, but I just hung up straight away. Since then, they’ve been ringing us nonstop, like twice a day every single day! We’re supposed to be unlisted and I only just updated our phone number not long ago. It’s really annoying.

As soon as I picked up, the caller just dropped the line straight away. I had a similar scam call on a different phone before, but it seemed like part of the same sort of scheme. When the 'Microsoft bloke' rang last time, I warned him I’d track him down and make him regret messing with me. That deterred them for about seven calls. Now, a couple of years later, they're at it again. If anyone else gets this number ringing repeatedly and you’re sure it’s the same scam, I’d suggest getting the loudest whistle you can find and give it a few sharp blasts. It really seems to put them off.

Got a call from this number saying my computer had a virus. Since I’m in IT, I just told them to buzz off and asked who they were. They’ve called me four times already and each time they get ruder. Think I’m gonna block this number for good now.

What a load of rubbish! I told the caller to shove off because I wasn’t falling for their tricks. Then out of nowhere, some bloke with a strange accent told me to sell my daughter before just hanging up. I was absolutely livid!

Got calls all the time from some stranger trying to offer computer cleaning services. Definitely sounds like it's from abroad and pretty annoying. Might be dangerous for people who might believe it.

Got a call from this number at 3.08pm on 14th May. At first, the guy was quite polite but then got really pushy. Tried to get his name but his accent was so thick I couldn’t understand a word. When I asked what company he was with, he said “Windows Service Centre”.
He claimed my PC had a virus and pushed some antivirus software that he wanted to sell me. Said he was based in Cardiff, which I thought was good since I could just take my computer into his office the next day. But then he admitted they don’t actually do repairs there, only meet clients. I suggested we meet at the local police station instead, you know, where guys like him belong. After that, he just hung up!
Don’t waste time with these creeps, they shouldn’t be allowed to carry on like this in our community.

I got a call today from someone saying that hackers had been trying to mess with my PC for about two weeks, trying to use it for dodgy stuff. The bloke said he was from Microsoft and that if I did what he told me, he could sort out all the problems. He mentioned he was ringing from Birmingham or somewhere thereabouts. I just told him he was a fraud and told him to buzz off.

Got a call from someone claiming my laptop and tablet were infected with a virus because of my emails, and they said they could fix it for me. The accent sounded a bit foreign. I told them I already have antivirus on my laptop and mentioned I don’t even own a tablet.

Got a call from someone saying our computer had a problem. Since we're ex-D, I asked how they got our number, and they claimed it was from our neighbour. Thing is, the neighbour they named isn’t real. Total scam, avoid!

I got a call from this number saying my pc wasn’t safe and had loads of viruses. They really pushed me hard to switch my computer on and then tried to get me to pay £160. Felt like a total scam.

Like others have said, they couldn’t even tell me what brand my computer was. They got quite pushy. When I asked what firm they were representing, their answers came quick but made no sense. Eventually, they said it was Quick Solutions. To get him off the phone and get some details, I had to say I’d call back. Here’s what he claimed:
Phone number 1424422292 (which is almost my number) with extension 1003
He called himself Ryan Gosling, which made me laugh, and he wanted to know why.
The number they phoned from, which I found later, was 002045298889.

This person was really pushy, kept insisting I turn on my computer to check for viruses. I said I wasn’t close to it, and then they got pretty rude, telling me to shut it down immediately. I just ended the call. Watch out, sounds like one of those nasty virus scams.

Could you believe it? The moment I answered the call, they just hung up on me!
