I got a call from someone claiming to be with a firm named VERSO doing a survey across the country. They wanted to check my name and address and ask me a few questions. I told them right away to never call me again and to remove my details from their list. Since then, they haven’t bothered me. I’d do the same with any annoying calls you get.

I’ve had this number ring me loads of times, always asking for "Mr. Hodgins". When I say no one by that name lives here, they just hang up straight away. They phoned again today on my mobile. I told them how annoyed I am that I’ve already explained nobody called Hodgins is here, then asked who they were - as soon as I spoke, the line went dead! It’s a woman’s voice, says "Mr. Hodgins?" over and over, sounds English but hard to tell exactly. It’s really annoying. I’ve saved the number as "scam" in my phone now, so if they call again I’ll just let it ring out to voicemail.

Really unpleasant experience. They kept calling me twice daily for a couple of weeks. When I explained that the number used to belong to someone else, they wouldn’t remove it unless I confirmed the details. I told them the number’s no longer associated with that person, but they just ended the call. When I asked to talk to a manager, they said it wasn’t possible and then just disconnected. So frustrating!
