I’ve been getting loads of calls every day from a guy who said his name was Kevin Smith and claimed to work for BT, my internet provider. When I asked him for my customer ID, he suddenly got really rude and said, “Who said I’m not BT?” I didn’t bother to argue and just ended the call. It’s been happening way too often lately.

Rang me twice, but when I answered, there was silence. I reckon they’re probably utilising some automated dialing system and were too occupied to converse with me!

Got a call from an Indian guy talking about some accident he claimed I was involved in, which I definitely wasn't. So, I spun him a yarn about me and a crew of 20 nicking a bus and crashing it after being chased by someone in a Queen outfit, ended up stuck in a field. He got proper angry, said he’d be reporting me to the cops and even called me a rascal or something like that!

Looks like the RTA scam is going around again today! Lucky I haven’t been targeted yet. Might have to start using my classic 'blasting a dog whistle into the phone' move soon!

I just rang them regarding a road traffic accident that supposedly happened in the past three years. However, the chap on the other end seemed completely stumped when I asked for specifics like the date or vehicle involved. He appeared rather miffed with my inquiries and hung up rather abruptly. Just to clarify, I’ve not been in any accidents myself!

Got a call from some dodgy number trying to get access to my computer - definitely a scam to hack your PC, watch out!

Got a call from this number, someone kept asking for [named person]. Thing is, that person was my wife who passed away like 18 years ago. Bit strange and annoying really! Definitely feels like spam to me.

I recently got a call from this number claiming I was part of a road traffic accident. The person on the other end identified himself as a representative from a law firm. When I inquired about the firm's name, he mentioned 'Hithway'. Then I probed a bit further, asking where they were located, and he casually stated London. Naturally, I wanted more specifics, so I pressed him on the exact location in London. Instead of answering, he snapped back, questioning why I was asking so much and then just ended the call! Quite the odd encounter, if you ask me!

Junk call alert! A caller was trying to track down [named person] and wouldn’t take no for an answer. The thing is, they were after my late wife, who passed away nearly 18 years back! Quite shocking, really!

I recently got a call from 002031 294936, which was rather odd. The only thing it uttered was 'goodbye' in a robotic tone! Then, there was a follow-up from a chap named Eddie White (can you believe it?) who asserted he was ringing from some Claims Management Company regarding a supposed car accident. His number bore a close resemblance, 02031 988108, if memory serves me right. Not long after, an Asian lady named Susan (hilarious, right?) contacted me, claiming to be from the Technical department concerning issues with my computer. It all seemed like one big scam to me. Clearly, these callers belong to the same call centre or are part of the same dubious crew. I do wonder when the authorities are going to put an end to this nonsense!

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, said his name was James and claimed to be from a law company about an accident I supposedly had. When I asked which firm and what accident he was on about, he lost his temper and started shouting at me! I told him not to bother calling again since it sounded like a scam, but he kept yelling over me. I ended up telling him I hoped he got cancer for Christmas. What a complete tool!

Got a call from an Indian guy asking if I owned the house. I told him no, it was my mum’s phone. Then he wanted to know if I was related. I asked him what for. He started rambling about some accident. When I questioned him more, he just cut the call. This kind of dodgy behaviour won’t stop these calls, I’m certain they’ll keep coming. How are we supposed to block this if there’s no one to contact to take your number off their list?

Some bloke rang me asking about a crash I supposedly got into, but I haven't been in any accident at all. Pretty strange!

I got a call just now from this number. Luckily, there was a rather long silence on the line when I picked up, so I promptly hung up and dialled "1471" to find out who it was. Considering what I’ve seen in the comments above, I suspect it was another one of those annoying “accident claim” calls.

This is the 4th time in the last year and a half that I've gotten a call from a man with an Indian accent asking about some fake car accident. Been on the telephone preference list the whole time too! Really annoying how they keep calling despite that.

Got a call today from a guy with an Indian accent, said something about a car crash that never happened. He said he worked for some lawyers but never actually gave a name. When I asked questions he dropped this weird 2-word hint about liking travel and, um, intimate stuff or something. Very odd and suspicious.

Got a call from a guy saying he was a solicitor and needed to discuss a car crash I wasn’t involved in. I just told him to stop wasting my time and ring someone else.

I received a call from a bloke who introduced himself as Jerry, supposedly from some dubious Claims Management Company, saying he was inquiring about a road incident linked to my address. When I mentioned I couldn't locate the firm online, he started mentioning issues with my network connection, which struck me as odd. He claimed they operated out of London, yet when I pressed for an address, he couldn't supply one. His accent hinted that he might be from India. Without a proper company name, I'm left unable to lodge a complaint...

Some bloke called me about a car crash once. I told him I had no interest and hung up. Then he rang straight back and picked up right where we left off. I told him several times I wasn't bothered, but he just talked over me. I got pretty annoyed but he didn't stop, so I ended the call. The same number called again after that, but there was nothing but silence when I answered.

Got loads of calls from this bloke, real cheeky. He kept saying he needed to talk about a car crash and that his insurance company had asked him to ring me. Told him I don’t own a car, but he didn’t seem to care one bit. In the end, I just told him to shove off! Proper annoying little muppet.

Just got a phone call from some bloke claiming there'd been a car accident that never took place. Tried to tell him straight away that it wasn't true but he wouldn’t let me get a word in and kept interrupting. Then he just started yelling at me. I shouted back once and hung up. He rang again straightaway to shout some more. I warned him I'd report the call as harassment, then ended it for good. Really unpleasant behaviour from that company.

So annoying and quiet at the same time. My phone goes off, I’m trying to get my hands clean, fiddle with the radio, haul myself over the dogs, and then… nothing. No one on the other end, just silence. Proper frustrating!

I received a phone call from a chap with an Indian accent who claimed he was reaching out about a slight car accident involving my vehicle. I instantly sensed something was off and realised it was a scam. I firmly told him not to ring this number again and mentioned that I would be reporting him. It’s infuriating how these dodgy individuals can get hold of your personal information and attempt to swindle you out of your hard-earned cash. Truly appalling behaviour!

Got a call from some bloke calling himself John Bell from the Traffic Authority. The connection was really bad and just as I was about to let him know exactly what I thought of his call, it just cut out on me! Total scam, I reckon.

Got a call from someone about making a claim on a car crash that happened 3 years ago. I told them I wasn't interested and ended the call. Then they rang straight back again, so I hung up once more. Not long after, a different person called me again. Honestly, that feels like harassment.

On Friday 3rd July, around 1:44pm, my mum got called three times from the number 002031294932. First call, she picked up and said hello but couldn’t hear a thing, so she just ended it. Next time, she didn’t answer at all. But the third call, a bloke spoke and after she asked him to repeat twice, he told her “You are a b##ch.” My mum’s never been nasty or rude on the phone, so it was quite upsetting. This happened on Friday 3rd July, 13:44.
