I’ve been getting loads of calls every day from a guy who said his name was Kevin Smith and claimed to work for BT, my internet provider. When I asked him for my customer ID, he suddenly got really rude and said, “Who said I’m not BT?” I didn’t bother to argue and just ended the call. It’s been happening way too often lately.

They rang me a couple of times but when I answered, there was no one there. I'm guessing they use some sort of automated dialler and maybe they were tied up when I tried calling back!

Got a call from an Indian guy talking about some accident he claimed I was involved in, which I definitely wasn't. So, I spun him a yarn about me and a crew of 20 nicking a bus and crashing it after being chased by someone in a Queen outfit, ended up stuck in a field. He got proper angry, said he’d be reporting me to the cops and even called me a rascal or something like that!

I got a call about some road accident from the past few years, but the bloke couldn’t give me any details like the car or when it happened. I kept asking, and he just seemed really annoyed and ended up hanging up on me. For the record, I’ve never even had a crash.

Got a ring from this number claiming I’d been in a car accident. The bloke said he was with some lawyers. When I asked the company's name, he said 'Hithway'. I tried finding out their location, and he just said London. So I asked which part of London, and suddenly he got all defensive asking why I was asking and then just ended the call! Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Someone rang me up saying I’d supposedly reported a car accident and was after making a claim. Completely caught me off guard.

I got a ring from 002031 294936 and all it did was play an automated voice saying goodbye, no other info.

Shortly after, this guy calling himself Eddie White (yeah right) said he was with some Claims Management Company, wanting to chat about a traffic accident. His number was pretty close to 02031 988108.

Then I had another call from a woman named Susan (hilarious) claiming to be from the tech department about my PC. Classic scam, all part of the same bunch or from some dodgy call centre. Honestly, when will they finally shutdown these muppets?

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, said his name was James and claimed to be from a law company about an accident I supposedly had. When I asked which firm and what accident he was on about, he lost his temper and started shouting at me! I told him not to bother calling again since it sounded like a scam, but he kept yelling over me. I ended up telling him I hoped he got cancer for Christmas. What a complete tool!

Got a call from an Indian guy asking if I owned the house. I told him no, it was my mum’s phone. Then he wanted to know if I was related. I asked him what for. He started rambling about some accident. When I questioned him more, he just cut the call. This kind of dodgy behaviour won’t stop these calls, I’m certain they’ll keep coming. How are we supposed to block this if there’s no one to contact to take your number off their list?

Got a call today from a guy with an Indian accent, said something about a car crash that never happened. He said he worked for some lawyers but never actually gave a name. When I asked questions he dropped this weird 2-word hint about liking travel and, um, intimate stuff or something. Very odd and suspicious.

When I told him I couldn’t track the company down on Google, he went on about my network being poor. He said the firm was based in London but wouldn’t give me any actual address. His way of speaking made me think he was from India. Since he never gave a proper company name, I can’t really report them to anyone...

Some bloke called me about a car crash once. I told him I had no interest and hung up. Then he rang straight back and picked up right where we left off. I told him several times I wasn't bothered, but he just talked over me. I got pretty annoyed but he didn't stop, so I ended the call. The same number called again after that, but there was nothing but silence when I answered.

Tried to tell him straight away that it wasn't true but he wouldn’t let me get a word in and kept interrupting. Then he just started yelling at me. I shouted back once and hung up. He rang again straightaway to shout some more. I warned him I'd report the call as harassment, then ended it for good. Really unpleasant behaviour from that company.

On Friday 3rd July, around 1:44pm, my mum got called three times from the number 002031294932. First call, she picked up and said hello but couldn’t hear a thing, so she just ended it. Next time, she didn’t answer at all. But the third call, a bloke spoke and after she asked him to repeat twice, he told her “You are a b##ch.” My mum’s never been nasty or rude on the phone, so it was quite upsetting. This happened on Friday 3rd July, 13:44.
