Got calls from these muppets three times over the last couple of days - absolute plonkers they are.

Got a missed call from this number but couldn’t answer as I was out. Pretty interesting to see what’s being said about it!

Chose not to pick up when this number rang, so I've decided to blacklist it.

I've received three phone calls recently from individuals claiming to be from the BT internet technical support team. I recognised them as scammers straight away and ended the conversation without hesitation.

Got a call from someone pretending to be BT, claiming my internet had some foreign virus and that I had to stay at my PC so he could sort it out. Said he’d share his staff ID and all that. Absolutely awful experience. Ended up blocking the number using 1572.

Today I got a couple of calls from this rude Asian lady who said she was with BT. I told her I wasn’t interested, but she just hung up on me. Then she rang straight back, shouting down the phone. When I answered a bit sharp, she told me to do one, then hung up. After that, I got a strange silent call from the same number. Proper annoying!

On the 25th April, my missus got a couple of calls from this number. Some bloke called Max rang saying there was an issue with our BT internet - which makes no sense ‘cos we’re not even BT customers! She had a right chuckle and told him straight he was probably trying to scam us, maybe hacking our computer or nicking our info. She made it clear she wasn’t daft. Then he snapped back with “I will really F##K you up”! We’ve since reported it to both the police and BT. Proper dodgy behaviour.

Received a call purportedly from BT's technical team. When I informed them that I wasn't a BT subscriber, they promptly hung up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

This number's format doesn't seem right, and it clearly looks like a spoof.

A call came through to my mum's landline, with the caller purporting to be from the Technical Department, insisting that her Internet connection was in jeopardy. Given that my mum isn't in the best of health at the moment, I answered the phone myself and informed them that we actually don’t have any Internet service at all, urging them to cease their incessant calling. The truth is, we do have Internet, but I had to put my foot down! It appears these nuisance calls are becoming quite regular, so I'm planning to block that number to spare my mum from any further hassle.

Absolutely a bunch of charlatans, lacking any finesse whatsoever! As I mentioned earlier, the caller had a pronounced, high-pitched accent that sounded very Middle Eastern. They proceeded to warn me that my phone line would be cut off in a day or two due to some supposed hackers. Then they had the audacity to inquire about my distance from the exchange-clearly an attempt to pry into my router situation after I had corrected their terminology. To top it off, they asked if I was Mr. 'landlord's name'. Naturally, I let them know that I wasn't, and before I could elaborate, they accused me of being dishonest. Quite irked by their baseless accusation, I launched into a bit of a tirade, firmly questioning how they could dare label me a liar, which prompted them to hang up abruptly. I can't shake the feeling that had I played along, they would have tried to coax me into disclosing sensitive information from the back of my router-so the real wrongdoers could take control themselves.

I'm receiving calls from Egypt, and they keep insisting that there are hackers lurking online. It's a bit dodgy, to say the least, and I reckon I'm not getting the full story here.

I've got a feeling my phone line's been compromised by some hackers. I reckon the source might be Egypt. It's been quite a nuisance, and the time they've got to make their moves is very limited.

I've received numerous calls from this number, but as soon as I pick up, they disconnect without a word. Quite frustrating, really!

I received a call on the 5th of April, 2017, from a lady who had a noticeable accent from the Far East. She was keen to discuss matters related to VAT refunds with me.

Got a call supposed to be from BT about my internet. I asked where she was calling from, and the moment I did, she just hung up. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I just received a rather alarming call from this number, claiming they were going to disconnect our internet for a full day due to numerous foreign individuals attempting to access our website. I repeatedly inquired about his identity, and he insisted he was with the Head Office of BT. I pointed out that a BT engineer is scheduled to visit this afternoon to inspect our line. Surprisingly, he denied this was the case and, when I affirmed that the engineer would indeed be coming, he abruptly hung up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

This bloke was proper pushy, said he was from BT or summat. I told him I wasn’t interested in talking, and then he started yelling at me. Not very pleasant at all.

Received a call purporting to be from BT, stating my internet would be offline for a fortnight and a bit. Funny thing is, I don’t even subscribe to BT!

Received a dodgy call purportedly from BT; when I called out their scam, they began hurling expletives at me!

Received a dubious call from BT, and when I confronted the person about the scam, they just launched into a barrage of profanity. Quite shocking, really!

got a call from a woman, sounded like she might be from the Caribbean or somewhere in America, but honestly couldn't make out a word. asked her to speak in English and she snapped back with, ‘what language do you think i’m talking, dear?’ i told her i just couldn’t understand her at all. very confusing and i had no clue what she was after so i hung up. she was unbelievably rude and i’ve no patience for that kind of behaviour. probably another scam, if you ask me.

Received a dodgy call asserting that my internet router had been compromised. I've now put a block on that number.

a woman with an asian accent rang me pretending to be from bt. I called her a complete liar and she just slammed the phone down. so rude! like seriously, does anyone actually believe these stories? but they keep it up anyway.

I had a rather concerning call from this number claiming to be BT. They informed me that I’d be disconnected for a fortnight due to a serious hacking issue stemming from abroad. Has anyone else experienced this? Would love to hear your thoughts or advice on how to handle it!

Got two calls from this number today. The first time I just told them they must think I’d fallen off the back of a lorry, then hung up. When they called again later, I fibbed and said my husband, who’s a software engineer, would have a word with them if they rang back tonight. Then I just ended the call.

Got a couple calls today from people saying they were from BT and threatening to cut off my internet. They used two separate phone numbers, obviously a scam. I just hung up straight away once they mentioned disconnecting my service. Such a hassle!
