I got three calls from this number, and also from a version without the extra zero at the start, like 2030191569, all on the afternoon of 29/6/16. Each time they reached my answerphone, they just hung up straight away.

It's really annoying, they keep calling me loads every week even though my number's ex-directory. I never pick up now, just let the answerphone take it, but they just hang up straight away. When I tried checking with 1471, it showed this number: 002030191569.

I keep getting calls from this number on my landline but I usually just ignore anything from numbers I don't know!

Like others have mentioned previously, I received a phone call from a woman of Asian descent who claimed to be from a telephone preference service. She asked me to verify my name, address, and phone number, but then she unnervingly revealed the last few digits of my debit card! That's when I truly lost my composure and demanded that they delete any information they had about me, as I wasn't inclined to pay them a single penny. I probed further about where they had obtained my details, but she just evaded the question and, after pressing for the removal of my information once more, she abruptly hung up. I'm quite concerned that they possess sensitive card information, especially since I never authorised any such disclosure. Whatever you do, do not engage with this caller!

I got a call from a bloke, Asian I think, who said he was Sam Williams from TPS. He wanted my card expiry date but already knew my name. I refused to give any info, and he ended up getting quite annoyed, asking if I didn't trust him. I told him straight up, no. Then he went on telling me to “madam, go and get your card details now!” Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be Sam Williams from TPS. He asked for my card expiry date but knew my name straight away. I refused to share any info and he got really annoyed, asking if I didn’t trust him. I told him clearly no. Then he started shouting at me, telling me to go fetch my card details immediately! Total scam if you ask me.

I’ve had a fair few calls from this number lately. This evening, I had a conversation with a gentleman of Asian descent who claimed he was representing the Telephone Preference Service, inquiring if we were still getting nuisance calls. My husband replied in the affirmative, but when he requested our debit card information, we promptly ended the call.

This number 002030191569 keeps ringing my phone all day long, but the moment I pick up, there’s just silence and then the line cuts off. It’s really frustrating! I guess the TPS can’t do much since the calls aren’t coming from inside the UK.

Some bloke called me asking who I was, so I asked who he was first. Claimed he was from Microsoft, sounded like he had an Asian accent, couldn't tell if it was South Asian or South East Asian. When I told him I only trust proper folks, not scammers pretending to be Microsoft, he told me off for my language! He hung up real quick after that.

Received a call from this number today and there was nothing but silence. Strangely enough, I got another notification shortly afterwards stating, "you were called...but we haven't got the caller's number." This happened on the 15th of June 2016. Quite baffling, really!

I've received a staggering nine calls from this number over the past three days - today alone, I picked up four! One of the calls I answered was from a rather pushy operator, who claimed to be reaching out on behalf of the Telephone Preference Service. He insisted that my prior registration had lapsed 'not long ago' and that I needed to be re-registered through their cutting-edge service to block all nuisance calls, including those pesky international ones. When I pointed out the clear contradiction of his unsolicited call, he seemed completely oblivious to the irony. In fact, he became noticeably flustered, asserting that he was obliged to confirm my registration and, rather alarmingly, requested the expiry date on my Visa card. I promptly declined and hung up.

I got a call from 002030191569, this guy called himself "Charles" and spoke with an Indian or Asian accent. He said he was ringing from "Telephone Friends Management". I've had a few calls like this before, ones claiming they worked for BT's computer fraud team, so I instantly thought it was a bit sketchy. When I asked what the call was about, he just ended the call straightaway.

I just received a rather odd telephone call from a girl named Olivia, who had an unmistakably Asian accent. She asked me for some personal information and insisted that I confirm the expiration date on my debit card. I mentioned I didn’t have it available at the moment, yet she seemed quite relentless, stating she would ring me again in a couple of days. She even claimed to have all my information already, wanting simply to double-check it. I must admit, I was somewhat intrigued, especially since I've recently signed up for a service to improve my landline and mobile security. Quite concerning, really!

Got a call today from someone with an East Asian accent who was trying to get me to confirm stuff they didn’t even have right. Tonight I had a ring from some call centre pretending to be from the telephone preference service. They asked if I was still getting annoying calls and wanted to update their records. I fed them some made up info just to see what was going on. Ended up speaking to about three different people before I asked if they had any issues with clearing out the account - that seemed to shut them up and they quickly ended the call.

I received a rather suspicious call earlier. The person on the line inquired about my newly acquired phone and then proceeded to ask for the lengthy number on my debit card. Strangely enough, they seemed to have knowledge of its expiry date as well. I've since cancelled the old card as a precaution. Just a word of caution to everyone-stay alert as these crooks are quite clever and up to no good!

Got calls twice on Wednesday, once about 3:05pm and then later at 8:02pm. Then again on Thursday evening around 8:18. No messages left any of those times. Number seems to be from Alexandria, Egypt, which makes me a bit wary about picking up in case it's some sort of scam.

Over the last couple of days, I got several calls from someone saying they were from the "telephone preference service". They already knew my full name, address and phone number. They asked if we pay our phone bill by direct debit. I told them I don't handle that, my husband takes care of it. Asked to speak to him but was told he wasn’t around. Got a call from someone saying they were from telephone preference management, telling me since I was an existing subscriber I could get an upgrade because they were updating their system. They didn’t ask for any payment but did want my debit card expiry date, which I didn’t feel comfortable sharing. The guy was quite polite and gave me the number 0871270039 when I asked. Just got another call from a guy, sounded Asian, saying he was with TPS and that my contract was up and I needed to renew. Honestly, why do these calls keep happening? And why doesn’t the TPS actually do anything to stop these scammers pretending to be them? It’s driving me crazy, thinking about changing my phone number because of it. Looks like one of those calls trying to get you to confirm your info so they can filter out spam calls. He asked for my husband originally, but I said "this is he," and he carried on chatting with me. I wasn't about to give any details over the phone, and he kept pushing for confirmation to prove he was speaking to the right person. Then out of nowhere, he mentioned my card expiry date, which made me chuckle before he hung up. If he really needed to confirm my identity, he should've asked more to speak to my husband instead of just settling with me.
