Got a call earlier claiming there was a problem with my Windows internet. The guy told me to check msconfig to see some Windows stuff that had apparently stopped. He said he’d log in and sort it out for me. I kept messing him about for like 30 minutes, then finally admitted I was just winding him up. He quickly ended the call - also funny enough, he said his name was Michael as well.

Utterly ridiculous! It's beyond me why there isn't more action taken against these pesky calls. It’s high time something was done to put an end to this nonsense!

I received a rather dubious phone call from someone posing as a technical support representative for Windows. The caller had a strong Indian accent and claimed that there was a problem with my IP address affecting my computer's performance. They insisted that I should log in to my system. However, when I pressed for details about when these issues began or even my name and network information, they were utterly clueless! I'm absolutely fed up with these charlatans; it's about time something was done to put a stop to these scammers once and for all!

I received a call from someone who pretended to be a tech support worker addressing a supposed issue with my Windows computer. They requested that I log into my machine, but I firmly told them to cease calling and ended the conversation. Would you believe they rang me up again within just a minute, repeating their demand? This morning, I had a rather dodgy call from someone who sounded quite Indian, claiming to be from the Windows support team. He insisted they had reports of someone attempting to breach my personal information and mentioned receiving messages supposedly from Windows. Well, I certainly hadn’t seen any such messages! He kept nagging me to log onto my laptop, but I had no intention of doing that. I made up a quick excuse to end the call. Before signing off, I asked him to send me an email with his details and contact number, but unsurprisingly, nothing arrived. A quick search of his number confirmed my suspicions-it’s definitely a scam! Best to steer clear of such nonsense!

I had a similar experience, mate! A supposed “Michael” from the tech support team at Windows rang me up. I couldn't help but think, "More like Mikhail, if you ask me!" I told him straight, "Listen here, you’re definitely not Michael and you’re certainly not getting anywhere near my computer!" I didn’t give him a chance to come back with anything-just told him to clear off!

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent, who introduced himself as Michael. He was inquiring about computer-related matters. However, we never engage with questions over the phone. I refrained from providing any details, as I’ve learned that such calls are often dubious. It feels as if they’re merely fishing for information-possibly to infiltrate systems or to scrutinise what possessions one has at home for potential theft down the line. If his intentions were genuine, surely he would have sent a formal letter featuring a proper letterhead along with a website for verification beforehand?

I got a call from a man with an Indian accent who said his name was Michael. He was asking about my computer, but I don’t give out any details over the phone. Usually, when someone’s fishing for info like that, it’s dodgy. I reckon they’re trying to hack into your PC or maybe note down what valuables you’ve got for a possible break-in later. If it was genuine, they’d send a proper letter with official headed paper and probably a website to verify things first.

Earlier today, I received a rather dodgy call from a chap with a thick Indian accent, using the number 002012324556. He claimed there was an issue with my Windows system but couldn’t even confirm my name! Instead, he insisted that I hop online and download some software to 'fix' this supposed problem. I quickly realised what a scam it was, called him out on it, and hung up. Honestly, just steer clear of anything they say - it’s all a ruse!
