Honestly, it’s so annoying! The phone rings, I pick up and say hello, then nothing but silence on the other end before some robot voice says goodbye. This rubbish really needs to be stopped or banned altogether.

Got a call earlier claiming there was a problem with my Windows internet. The guy told me to check msconfig to see some Windows stuff that had apparently stopped. He said he’d log in and sort it out for me. I kept messing him about for like 30 minutes, then finally admitted I was just winding him up. He quickly ended the call - also funny enough, he said his name was Michael as well.

Got a call from some so-called window tech support bloke with a thick Indian accent. He kept banging on about an IP address messing with my computer and asked me to log in somehow. When I asked for details like when it happened or my name and network, he couldn't answer a thing! Sick of these scamming muppets, they really oughta be stopped for good!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was a tech fixing a Windows problem. He wanted me to sign into my PC, but I told him to quit calling and just ended the call. Weirdly, he rang straight back within a minute and tried the same thing again. Sounded like he had a strong Indian accent as well.

Got a call earlier from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Windows support team. He reckoned someone was trying to hack into my personal info and that Windows was sending me alerts about it. I told him I wasn’t getting any such messages. He kept pushing me to log into my laptop, but I just made up some excuse and ended the call. Before hanging up, I asked him to send me his details and a contact number by email - obviously, nothing showed up. I looked up his phone number online and, as I thought, it was a scam. Don’t fall for it!

Totally a scam, no one actually talks once you pick up and the main message plays. I’ve put it straight on my block list.

I had a call from this bloke claiming to be Michael, supposed to be from the Windows computer support team. I was quick to shut him down, saying something like "You're not Michael and you’re not touching any of my computers! Now bugger off!" Didn’t even let him say a word back!

They called me loads of times, but when my mum finally picked up, there was nobody on the other end.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said his name was Michael. He was asking stuff about our computer? We never give out any info over phone calls because usually these sort of calls turn out to be dodgy. I reckon they might be trying to hack into the computer or maybe figure out what valuables you’ve got at home for planning a break-in later on. If it was a proper call, they would have sent a letter on official paper with a website to check for proof first.

I got a call from a man with an Indian accent who said his name was Michael. He was asking about my computer, but I don’t give out any details over the phone. Usually, when someone’s fishing for info like that, it’s dodgy. I reckon they’re trying to hack into your PC or maybe note down what valuables you’ve got for a possible break-in later. If it was genuine, they’d send a proper letter with official headed paper and probably a website to verify things first.

Got a phone call earlier from a guy with a really thick Indian accent, the number was 002012324556. He claimed my Windows had some issue and said he’d traced it, but he didn’t even know my name! Then he started asking me to download some software to fix this “problem”. I told him straight up he was a scammer and ended the call. Honestly, don’t trust these lot for a second.
