Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from Talktalk. She asked to access my computer remotely, saying there was an issue with my account. She made up a fake name and account number, then asked for mine to 'verify' the info. I checked with Talktalk later and they confirmed it was a scam. Don’t give them any of your details.

Got a call from someone claiming to be 'Angel' saying there was an issue with my PC. Hung up straight away. They rang twice more but I just ignored it. Seems like a total scam to me.

Just had a call from a bloke who was pretty rude, kept asking for someone in the house but only knew their title and last name. He kept insisting he needed to speak to Mr or Mrs Xxx, but when I asked who exactly he wanted, he couldn’t give a proper answer. Seemed like he was just trying to find out who lives here by guessing the name. He also assumed I was the person he wanted, but I told him to introduce himself properly first before I connect him. Then he just ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Watch out, these folks are up to no good and it’s a total scam. Never hand over any info to them.

Since the start of July, I’ve been getting calls nearly every day, sometimes morning and evening. They usually say there's an issue with my computer and try to get me to download some software. I’ve called their bluff more than once and just hung up. Now, I just don’t pick up and have blocked the number altogether. I reported several of these numbers to TalkTalk, who said it’s a scam, but it feels like nothing’s being done to stop the calls. I’ve flagged the number as risky because if these scammers get access to your computer, they can easily nick your cash!

Got a call today from a woman with a foreign accent saying she’s from TalkTalk, claiming there’s an issue with our router. Strange thing is, this was the second call this morning, but earlier someone else rang from a different number with the same story - they said after checking it out, they’d send a new router and refund us £30. This has been going on for ages, calls like this coming every day. Really annoying!

Got another call earlier today, supposedly from Talktalk's tech support. The bloke, who said his name was Derek, had quite poor English and sounded Asian. I just ended the call straight away. What a total pain!

Got a load of calls today from 3 different numbers all saying they’re from Talk Talk. It’s been relentless, about 4 times this morning alone. Always the same story, asking me to switch on my computer and stuff like that. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
