They rang me twice within an hour. First time I just hung up, but the second time I stayed on the line.

I received a call at about 10 in the morning, Atlantic time, from a lady who spoke with an Indian accent. She claimed to be with Windows and said my computer had been hacked and I needed to unlock it so she could fix it immediately. I told her I wasn’t comfortable just letting anyone access my laptop, but she kept pushing. Eventually, I said I would ring Windows myself, but she insisted I had to open my laptop right then. When I refused again, she told me to expect another call later. It’s absolutely a scam, so don’t get caught out!

I got a call about my computer, but I cut them off and basically said no. Then they started threatening to block my computer if I didn’t cooperate. I just ended the call right there. I hardly ever use my computer anyway. Definitely a total scam!
