Got a call just after 7am on Thursday, and then again this morning at 7.11. Honestly, it’s starting to really wind me up!!!!!!!

Would someone be able to get this number blocked? We're getting calls really early, which is tough for us older folks as we can't get up quickly and it’s messing with our sleep. It's just too much bother for us right now.

For the past four days, I've been getting calls every day from someone saying they're from Microsoft. They keep warning me that if I don’t log in and do what they say, my computer will be shut down. I told them to stop but they keep ringing. I’ve actually reported it to Microsoft because it’s really creepy and annoying.

Got a call bright and early at 7.30am today from someone claiming to be Microsoft about some tech problem. I told her I had no clue what she was going on about and mentioned it was way too early. She just hung up on me. Really not happy about it, especially since I’ve got a newborn at home!

This number keeps ringing me up, like 4 or 5 times daily - such a nuisance. I just don't pick up.

I've gotten calls from this number a couple of times now. Being 83 and needing two walking sticks, it's pretty frustrating to keep getting disturbed like this.

This number rang me on 4th March at about 8:10 in the morning. I hung up right away as soon as they spoke and later used 1471 to find out who it was. It's the third time I've received calls from this number now.

This number kept calling me and the person on the other end was really rude and abusive.

They rang me again on the 3rd of March around 10:18 GMT. This scammer is quite annoying and clearly doesn't have a good memory because he completely ignored what I told him last time when he attempted to scam me.

Got a call first thing in the morning, and I reckon it’s connected to that TalkTalk hack thing. We’ve also been sent a fake letter and an email pretending to be from TalkTalk, both totally dodgy.

Got a ring at 9:15am GMT from a guy with an Indian accent, saying he was with Microsoft's tech support. He claimed they noticed multiple error alerts on my PC. I told him that error logs are pretty normal for any operating system. I then asked him for my IP address, but he couldn’t seem to give it to me. This is like the tenth time they’ve tried this scam, and every single time I’ve seen through it. For what it’s worth, the call came from South Washington Avenue in Minnesota, near Minneapolis. Honestly, they must be seriously desperate if they’re calling people at 4:15am EST!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft tech support. Told them we only use iPads and don't mess with Microsoft stuff. The woman just ended the call right away. It’s really frustrating because I’ve heard a few folks fell for this scam. Wish there was a way to shut these crooks down for good.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, saying he was from Microsoft. He told me my computer was being hacked and that they were watching it right then while we talked. Didn’t seem able to give any proper details about my PC though. When I mentioned I was streaming iPlayer at the moment, he got all flustered. Then when I asked him to remove our phone number from their database, he got all flustered again and just hung up on me.

I got a phone call earlier from someone saying they were with Microsoft and that my PC had been hacked. I let the bloke go on for ages explaining what hacking meant, then just ended the call. He rang me again, and when I didn’t pick up, he started shouting a load of awful words! Definitely seems like a proper trustworthy outfit!!

This number just rang me up claiming they were from Windows support and wanted me to carry out some tasks on my PC. I told them I actually have a Mac, not Windows. Then they switched tactics, saying I should follow some other steps, and when I asked which company they worked for, they said "Macintosh." I asked why they first said Windows and then switched to Macintosh, and then they abruptly ended the call. Sounds like a total SCAM to me.

I’m an 83-year-old bloke with disabilities, and these horrible calls keep coming, often even in the middle of the night. You’d think the phone companies could do something to stop these scam calls from happening, right? They’ve got to have the technology to block them somehow.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from Microsoft. Pretty obvious it was a scam, trying to get into my computer. I didn’t follow any of their instructions and just kept saying “sorry?” heaps to stall. Ended up wasting about 7 minutes of their time, which I reckon they weren’t too happy about!

Got a call at about 10:08 on 18 Feb 2015. The person on the line wouldn't tell me their company name, only kept saying they were "A Microsoft Company." They might have dropped the location as Leicester, which makes me think the number was probably faked. After a bit, they just gave up and ended the call since I wasn’t having it. If anyone can track down an exact address, maybe a bunch of us could team up and confront these con artists?

I got a call from someone pretending to be Windows tech support. They kept trying to trick me into sharing my private info by asking loads of questions. My advice is simple: just hang up and never share any of your personal info or let them put anything on your PC. It’s a total scam!

Got another call from some so-called "Windows Support" saying my PC was compromised. I played it cool and kept chatting, but as soon as I started pressing them about how they supposedly connected my computer to my phone number (they gave some daft story about all devices on the network using the same Windows ID), they just hung up. Checked the number on caller ID and using 1471 - it’s apparently an unregistered number from Minnesota. Classic scam, really.

Today I got a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my PC had been compromised. I asked where they got my phone from and they claimed it came from my software license info. I told them this isn’t the first time they’ve rung me and outright called it a scam and a load of rubbish. They kept insisting it wasn’t a scam and that their only intention was to ‘repair’ my computer. I told them if they did a quick search on Microsoft calls warning about these kinds of scams, they’d see the truth. They tried to dodge the point again, but I lost interest and ended the call. Definitely a scam, just check the Microsoft Safety & Security website for proof.

I just got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Windows tech support, saying my computer was infected and hacked. I've dealt with calls like this before and enjoy messing with the scammers. I told him that my firewall should be blocking anything like that. Then he started rattling off some nonsense about a virus letting hackers steal all my info. When I said I didn’t have any virus, he just ended the call immediately!

For nearly a year now, this number has been calling me around twice daily, trying to get me to start up my computer. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam because the callers are really unpleasant. The most recent person even told me to be quiet! It’s been annoying for a long time.

Got a ring earlier today and decided to do a 1471 check. Funny thing is, the number that showed up wasn’t the same as the one they told me to ring back on, which was 01163183604. Been struggling with my computer nonstop this week, and now these people seem to already have my license number and phone details. Anyone got any advice on what’s going on?

I got a call around half past eight in the morning from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, telling me my computer was compromised. I told them I have a few computers and asked for the IP address so I could figure out which one they meant. They gave some jargon-filled answer, and I just said my IT guy would take care of it. When my partner asked what operating system was involved, the caller said "a Microsoft one." That’s when I told him to buzz off. Not long after, they rang again, insisting my system was definitely hacked and warning me not to use it if I wouldn’t chat to them. I just hung up on them.

So, I got a ring from this number around 1:16, and the bloke said he was calling from Microsoft. I told him I don’t even use a PC, only a Mac! Then he "passed" me onto some "Macintosh team." After messing about for a bit, he ended up threatening to shoot me - obviously couldn’t take a joke!

So today I got a couple of calls from this number. First one was at about 9 in the morning. I answered and the bloke claimed he was with Microsoft. Told him to jog on and hung up straight away. Later on, around 2pm, my missus answered another call from the same number. The person was chatting about some computer issue but she told them we don’t even have a computer, so just ended the call.
