Got a call from a bloke, sounded like he was calling from the States, saying he was with Microsoft. He told me my computer was hacked and in danger of being blacklisted. Seemed like a sketchy scam to me.

Got a call from someone named Christina claiming to be from Microsoft, sounded like she had an Eastern European accent. I decided not to reply or get involved.

Tried calling back but no luck, so I just blocked the number.

Somebody phoned me pretending to be from Microsoft, said he was called Christopher Jones. He claimed my PC was being tampered with by scammers from Nigeria. I played along for a bit but kept saying I wasn’t convinced. He even tried to back up his story with the official Microsoft support number. In the end, I just hung up on him.

i got a call from a guy who said he was christopher jones working for microsoft. he said some scammers in nigeria had been on my computer. i told him i wasnt buying it and kept him on the line while i thought about it. he tried to convince me by giving the official microsoft phone number as proof. after that i just hung up on him.

Had a really rude and pushy lady on the line, I’d just block that number straight away.

This felt really sketchy, definitely seem like a scam. When I picked up, the caller said they were “checking the computer connection” and then the call just dropped. I'm now quite concerned they could be trying to take money from my bank or something.

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying he was from Microsoft. When I asked where he was calling from, he said Reading. I told him I didn’t trust him and he quickly got quite angry and rude. I told him to take my number off his list and that I was going to report him. He said if I hung up he'd ring me back, and sure enough, he called back almost immediately. I just didn’t pick up and instead blew a whistle into the phone.

Some bloke with a really thick accent called, claiming he was from Microsoft. He asked if I was ringing from the UK, and I said yes. Oddly, the number showed a Puerto Rico area code. After that, he just hung up on me.
