Got a call around midday on 23/7/19 from a number that looked like it's from abroad. The woman on the line spoke very politely and said she was from 'Visa Secure', telling me there was an issue. I didn't hang about and just ended the call straight away. Seems like this caller was quite busy ringing people that day!

Looks like a scam to me, especially after reading what others said. They called but hung up as soon as we answered. Not gonna risk pressing one to see what happens!

Got a robocall telling me £600 was withdrawn from my bank and to press 1 for details. When I did, the line just went silent. This is the second call in one day, both from different numbers but oddly enough, they both begin with 001. Proper dodgy!

Got a call saying £600 was taken from my bank and to press 1 if I didn’t know about it. Sounded fishy so I just ended the call and rang my bank. They told me it’s a usual trick scammers use to steal details. Better to be safe and double check calls like these.

Just like others have said before, this old £600 scam keeps popping up. I get around ten calls like this each week too. Soon enough, it’ll be hard to trust anyone on the phone when they say something serious. Makes you wonder what’ll happen if there’s a genuine emergency. Feels like the classic boy-who-cried-wolf situation!!!
