I got a call that just went straight to voicemail and had this really irritating tune playing. So, I ended up putting the number on BT’s block list through 1572.

Called by a woman saying she was from Macbrides. Apparently, her client’s planning a hostile takeover of a firm she believed I had shares in. She already had my name, phone num and postal address, and was keen to get my email too. I told her to send details by post instead, but she warned me that might be cutting it too fine!

I just got a call from someone named Chase (bit of a cool name) saying he was from McBrides about investing in shares for KCOM, which is a local biz that's up for sale. I told him I wasn’t interested and he ended the call straight away.

So I got a call from a woman saying she was with Mcbrides. I gave her my work email at the time but ended up deleting it later on. The shares she mentioned were way higher than they realistically should’ve been. Honestly, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t. Just watch out for stuff like this.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent asking for my brother about selling shares. He wanted an email address, but apparently didn’t have one to send from. So my brother passed on my email instead. The man said I’d get an email within 15 mins, but it never came through. Then he asked if I had a printer because he wanted me to print something out and send it back to them. Bit fishy if you ask me.
