7 yearsI’ve had loads of dodgy calls lately - some claim there’s a court case against me, others say the police station is monitoring the call if I hang up, and a recent one threatened to cut my internet off and demand £600 on my Visa. These scammers are getting smarter than the official bodies, honestly! If you use online banking, you can usually spot the fakes easily. Usually I spot them because I’ve heard these numbers before, and they always butcher my name in the worst way.7 yearsGot a recorded voice saying "This is urgent, we've taken £600 from your VISA card. Press ONE to talk to an advisor." Panic set in so I rushed to check my bank app and thankfully, no money's been withdrawn. Quite a different take on the typical "press one to give your details" trick! Totally a SCAM - watch out!7 yearsGot a call from some bloke pretending to be from Microsoft. Total spam, obviously.MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (913861335)
