Got a call at 4.53pm, wasn’t very helpful at all.

Got a recorded message about a £600 visa debit supposedly active on my account telling me to press one - obviously, I didn't. I've phoned that number three times now and each time it's the same spiel, so I've blocked it. There's also this other number, 001983629463, spouting the same story. Avoid them both!

Got two calls today, first one telling me £100 had been charged to my Visa, then another saying £600 was taken. They asked me to press one if I hadn’t approved it. Sounds like one of those classic scams to me. If there was really an issue, I reckon the fraud team would have phoned directly, not left some automated message. I’ve blocked the number now. Watch out, folks!
