It’s definitely a scam, and I want to flag that this isn’t the only number doing it - I got the exact same call earlier today from 01423884946. I’ve already reported both numbers. Be careful!

Received calls from +1 9095 689 24 saying something about a £600 visa scam, asked me to press 1. We haven’t got one, but they've tried ringing over ten times in the past two days on different numbers of ours. Proper annoying!

This number kept ringing my landline all day long, about every 1 to 2 hours. A recorded woman says she’s calling on behalf of Visa with an urgent warning that someone’s trying to take £600 out of my account. She then tells you to press 1 to talk to someone if you didn’t authorise the payment. Out of curiosity, I pressed 1 once and all the robot lady said was “Goodbye.” I’ve set up the call blocking through my phone provider, but the number still got through twice more! It’s getting pretty annoying now.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be Visa, telling me £600 had been taken from my account. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone about it. It’s definitely a scam. Don’t ever press any buttons if you get a call like this. If you want to check properly, look up Visa’s number yourself and ring them directly. Don’t use any number that calls you out of the blue. Try the phone book or check old letters or statements you might have from Visa.
