got a call from a recorded british lady claiming to be visa secure, said to press 4 about a transaction over £600. i ignored it and hung up straight away. later checked my bank and there was nothing odd at all.

couldn’t be bothered to pick up. over the past week, i’ve been getting loads of calls claiming to be from abroad. weird thing is, they show as international on the caller id, but if you check the details on your phone, this exact number shows up. fed up with all these annoying calls, have blocked like half a dozen by now. really makes me wonder why i’m even paying for a landline that just lets all this rubbish through.

Got a call earlier from a woman with a British accent, saying there’s a charge of £600 on my Visa. Apparently, I’m meant to press something if it wasn’t me. Honestly, that seemed really dodgy given I’m nowhere near my overdraft limit. I wasn’t gonna press 1 for sure, especially since I don’t take calls like that out the blue. I only picked up ’cause I thought it was someone else ringing me.

Just like many others, I got a call pretending to be about a bank transaction. Absolutely suspicious and obviously a scam.
