Phone number ☎️ 001883709532 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance scam call originating from an overseas call centre, often with Indian-accented operators claiming to be from BT or similar providers. Callers typically allege hacking or security issues with the recipient's broadband or computer, attempting to gain remote access or personal information. Many have experienced repeated calls despite blocking efforts, with some encounters involving aggressive or abusive behaviour when challenged. Calls frequently involve attempts to guide victims to suspicious websites or remote control software. Users strongly advise against engaging, sharing data, or following instructions. 9 yearsThey keep ringing me non-stop, but whenever I pick up, the line just cuts out or I catch some foreign call centre noise before it dies. Honestly, if they ring one more time, I’m gonna be quite harsh with them.9 yearsTotally dull scam call, no effort or imagination at all.9 yearsJust like many others have said, the voice sounded Indian and I told him to get lost!9 yearsGot a call from someone named Max, sounded like he was from India. He claimed they'd been checking my internet and found hackers had got into my passwords and stuff. Said he could sort it out for me. Asked how many lights were flashing on my router, I told him none, just a blue one. Then he wanted me to turn on my computer, I pretended to agree. But I don’t even have a laptop, just an iPad and a phone. When I said that, he started shouting at me for having my computer on, so I just ended the call. Pretty scary for folks who don’t realise this is just a scam.Max9 yearsGot loads of calls from a call centre claiming to be BT. The moment I pick up, they just disconnect! It’s become rather frustrating, to be honest.10 yearsWhat annoys me about these calls and others like them is why do phone companies let these SCAMMERS get hold of people’s personal numbers to scam them? No matter how many complaints are made, nothing happens unless you cough up extra fees each month. This just lets them bother a new victim. People who’ve been caught should have their phones cut off, plain and simple, but that wouldn’t make phone companies any extra cash.10 yearsI'm bombarded with incessant calls each morning, all supposedly coming from BT's tech support. Despite my consistent attempts to inform them that I'm well aware they're trying to pull a fast one, and begging them to cease their calls, they just won't take the hint. When I told him I had neither, he just hung up straight away!Talktalk10 yearsClaimed he was with BT!!!BT10 yearsThey've rang me about 6 times today alone and loads over the week. Saying they’re from Ofcom, BT, and Virgin Media. Got really rude when I questioned them. They were going on about my router being hacked, computer having a virus, and problems with my broadband speed.OfcomBTVirgin MediaSubmit Your Own Report (883709532)
