Got a text from this number saying I could track a parcel, almost fell for it until I noticed there was no order number, no courier name, nothing to back it up. The number’s got a +1 code, so calling back would’ve cost me a bomb. Instant block from me. I saw other people mentioned on here that clicking the link led to their Google accounts getting hacked, so seriously, don’t ever click any link unless you’re absolutely certain it’s safe. Check the comment from 1/3/21 if you want to see which link to steer clear of.

This number sent me a message with a link and told me to reply STOP if I wanted to unsubscribe. I ignored it completely and just blocked the number instead. Looks like a total scam to me. If I had clicked the link, I’m sure I’d have fallen victim to something dodgy, and replying STOP might have just ended up charging me for the message. Plus, replying would have confirmed my number is active, which probably means they’d pass it on to other scammers too.

If I’d clicked the link, I might’ve got caught out, and if I’d replied with STOP, I probably would’ve been charged for the text. Plus, replying just tells them my number works, which means they could pass it on to other scammers. Total dodgey behaviour.

Got a message from this number asking me to click a link or text STOP to opt out. I didn’t bother with either and just blocked the number straight away. It’s clearly dodgy; clicking the link would’ve probably led to some kind of scam, and replying with STOP would’ve charged me for the text. Plus, texting back would just confirm my number is real, meaning they could pass it on to other scammers for more rubbish calls.

Got a message from this number saying "Follow your order easily in the Shop app: [#]qvay.app.link/e/Z8nzT02Ggeb" with a note to text STOP if you want out. I’ll be blocking and reporting it, but honestly, it’s annoying because I usually watch out for these things :(

I got a text from this number with a link to supposedly track a package I was waiting for. Turns out, when I clicked it, someone managed to get into my Google account and took over. Really dodgy stuff.

I've been getting calls from this number loads of times daily - 08456021111, with a BT message saying the number is 0018779105438 and mentioning a text message plus some choices. I usually just hang up straight away. Not sure if it’s just a wrong number or some kind of scam going on.
