The voice on the other end sounded foreign and barely spoke any English. I caught something about my account with them. I just told the lady to do whatever and quickly ended the call.

Got two calls just a couple minutes apart, the first one showed this number, but the second just came through as no caller ID. Didn’t pick up either since I had no idea who it was.

There was a few seconds of silence before this automated lady’s voice said goodbye. Definitely feels like one of those scam calls to me.

Got a call but couldn’t pick up since I’ve blocked all international numbers. Bit of a shame because, weirdly, I find it quite entertaining to play along with these idiots for a bit. Then out of nowhere I throw in something about wanting to sleep with their mum or the caller themselves, then just love hearing the shocked and pissed-off reaction. Proper laugh that.

Some bloke rang me sayin', 'I'm ringing about your computer,' so I went with it and asked, 'Do you even have a computer?' No answer, which made me chuckle. If he did answer, I'd probs say, 'Well, since you're nosing about mine and I don't know you, I reckon I can ask about yours too!' I get these calls all the time and usually just give them whatever daft reply pops into me head, just for fun.

Got calls from this number twice in two days. When I picked up, it just kept ringing like no one was really there - classic sign it’s dodgy. Then some foreign-sounding person comes on and starts banging on about my computer having a virus. I just tell them to stop being daft and tell them where to go, then hang up. After doing that a few times, they usually don’t call back. Looks like it’s probably a North American number because it starts with 00, which is usually the international dialling code, followed by 1 for the US or Canada.

When I noticed the call came through showing 001, which I know is the overseas code for North America, I found it a bit strange. I let it ring through to voicemail to see what was going on, but then the call just dropped as soon as the answerphone picked up. Quite odd, really.
