As if Donald Trump wasn’t annoying enough, now I’m getting calls from some clueless people in America. They never even leave a message explaining why they’re ringing. Honestly, what’s the point? They’re such a hassle!

Got a robo call warning me about some hacking activity on my number and threatening to shut it down by tomorrow if I didn't press 1. Definitely sounded like a con, so I just ended the call straight away. Don’t really wanna know what happens if you actually press anything, probably not worth the risk. Would say it’s dodgy and stay clear.

Got a robo call claiming to be from Ofcom saying my phone line was gonna get disconnected because it was hacked. It told me to press buttons, but I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from a random number with a USA area code. Didn't bother picking up and just let it ring out. Not really shocked since no voicemail or anything was left afterwards.

Got a call today from someone saying they were from Ofcom, told me my phone line would be disconnected in 24 hours. Didn’t hang about, just ended the call straight away. Sounds dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number on 27th March 2019, but i just let it ring out and go to voicemail. There wasn’t any message afterwards. Since I don’t really know anyone based in the US, where the call seemed to come from, I’m thinking it was probably some kind of scam.

i answered the phone and just said “hello,” but no one spoke back and they hung up after a bit. it felt like one of those scam calls, so i checked the number by calling 1471 and saw it was from an international code i didn’t recognise.

got a call from some robo voice saying my internet would get disconnected if i didnt press 1, obviously a scam so just be careful out there!
