Complete rip off...

I got a call from a London area code and they left a voicemail saying I’d won £150k. Like that’s ever true, I don’t enter those things anyway. The number popped up in some lottery scam list, so I’ve just blocked both now.

I got a call from someone saying I’d won £150,000 from the US Lottery with some code, I think it was 04988. They mentioned they’d been trying to get hold of me loads of times through calls and letters, but I never got any. They told me to call 0018447289200 quick so I wouldn’t miss the chance. I looked the number up on Google and sure enough, it’s a scam like I thought from the start.

Honestly, USA, just hold onto your cash and maybe put it back in your own coffers instead of bothering us.

Got a call from someone saying I’d won £150000 from the US Lottery. They said they’d already sent letters out too. The person on the phone had an American accent. Not sure if it’s legit at all.

Got a call from somewhere calling itself the US Lottery Centre, saying they’d been trying to reach me because I’d supposedly won £150,000. They wanted me to give them a ring back straight away. Seemed fishy to me!

Yesterday around half past eight in the evening I got a call from a woman with a American accent telling me I’d won £150,000. She said they’d been sending me loads of letters but wanted me to ring them back with a reference number. Thing is, I haven’t got any letters at all, so it sounds a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone asking loads of personal stuff, even my National Insurance number. After that, my mum called me about it, and I then called the number back asking for someone called Eric Goulding, who they said I should ask for. When I tried to get more details and some written proof from them, they just ended up hanging up on me.

About a week ago, I got a call saved on my phone telling me I’d won a huge amount on the lottery. Thing is, the voice on the other end spoke with an American accent, but the prize was supposedly in British pounds, which felt really fishy to me. I’m pretty sure it was a scam trying to pull a fast one. I never bother with those lottery things anyway.
