Number unknown to me - I didn't answer as I didn't know who it was. Later, I looked it up on 'Who called me' and saw it was definitely a scam.

They gave it another shot today around 11.53, calling a number in Plymouth. Luckily, my blocking system kicked in and stopped it.

We had a call come in from someone called 'Steven Day,' even though we have our number set to announce callers first. The phone flagged it as a possible scam, so it went straight to voicemail, but I didn’t hear any message left by 'Day'. Weird!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Simon Ward, saying there was an issue with my computer. When I started getting suspicious, he said he'd connect me to Simon. I told him straight up that it was a scam and to get lost, maybe with a stronger word or two. Had two calls like that in the past fortnight. He also claimed he helped me set up Alexa from Amazon. Just be careful out there!
