Got a call this morning from someone saying they were from BT, sounded dodgy so I just ended the call straight away. Same story as everyone else!

This morning, around 8:35, my phone rang but I couldn’t get to it before going to voicemail, and the caller just hung up. I think they also tried to call yesterday, and my husband answered then. They said something about our internet being at risk of disconnection, but luckily he didn’t say anything back.

I decided not to pick up, but after dialling 1471, that number showed up.

Just got a call at 8:59 saying my BT internet was going to be cut off. The line went dead right after. Definitely a scam, I’m not with BT at all.

Got a call from this number a couple of times in the past two days. It was one of those recorded messages warning me that my BT broadband would get disconnected unless I pressed 1 or something, so I just ended the call right away. Pretty clear that it's a dodgy scam attempt.

Got a call early morning 8:17 but they didn’t say anything or leave a voicemail. Sounds like it might be from the States.

Just got a call at 8:39 and it was someone pretending to be BT but talking with an American accent. Looks like one of their usual scam tries where they keep switching numbers every time.

Definitely a con, they left a voicemail claiming it was BT, but it’s obviously not them!

Got a call at 8:15 this morning but all I heard was silence. Number was blocked as well. Bit odd if you ask me.

01/09/2019 around 9.30am Our home phone rang and it was a recorded message from a female voice saying our BT line was due to be cut off, and that our internet connection would be impacted too. They told us to press a number to sort it out, but of course we didn’t bother. This has happened loads of times since Christmas, probably about the fourth, and now it seems to be every day! It’s pretty worrying and makes me question if keeping a landline is worth it, though it does come in useful for emergencies.

Got a robotic call saying there’s an issue with my BT service, which is odd because I don’t even have BT. Weird thing to call about, right? ??????
