Got a call saying there was some unauthorised activity on my credit card, which freaked me out a bit. Turned out it was a scam trying to get my details. Safe to say, I didn’t fall for it!

I got a call from someone claiming my broadband and phone line with BT were at risk, and they told me to press 1 to fix it. I figured pressing that would just connect me to a pricey number and leave me with a huge bill.

Got another call within an hour from some BT scammer. They used different phone numbers each time but kept saying they’d cut my BT off if I didn’t press 1. Told BT about it and blocked both numbers on my BT blacklist.

Got a call from +1 818 582 1445, looks like it's from the USA, on the 7th of December 2018 around 2.12pm GMT. Nobody picked up tho, we wasnt home then. That's it really.
