They’ve been ringing me like crazy, silent calls four times today and three times just yesterday. This keeps happening nonstop every single day. So annoying!

Following the recent passing of my Stepmother, who had been living with my Father, things have become quite difficult. Understandably, my Father is going through a period of grief. Compounding our troubles are the persistent daily calls we receive from a number associated with a company called Perfect Benefit. Curiously, they consistently ask for my late Stepmother. I have diligently informed them multiple times that my Stepmother is no longer with us, and their continuous calls only serve to distress my Father further. It is truly disheartening that despite relaying this information to the most recent caller, I was met with rudeness and warned that unless I comply with their questions, this harassment would persist. Such behaviour is utterly appalling in my opinion.

He repeatedly makes calls, and when he called for the third time, he used offensive language.

I've been getting calls about doing a survey, like, five times already today. It's pretty annoying how often they ring me for the same thing. Can people seriously not take a hint?

This woman rang me in the middle of the day, so I just ended the call. She tried ringing a couple more times, and each time I hung up. After the last time, she got really bold and said she’d keep calling me every single day. Honestly, she was quite annoying and rude.

The individual claimed to be named John, but I highly suspect his name is actually Ali. I politely stated my name and informed him that I do not entertain inquiries from unfamiliar callers. The rude person responded by threatening to continuously call if I didn't engage. Without further ado, I promptly ended the call and blocked the offending number. To be prepared for future instances where they change numbers and manage to connect, I have placed a very loud whistle next to my telephone.

I just went through the other comments here and yep, we're dealing with exactly the same issue. We shifted into our new place about half a year ago, and since then, I’d guess we’ve had roughly 80 calls like this. I even got in touch with the folks who lived here before us and turns out, they went through the same thing! The callers are always hunting for a Mr Ross Clark. If only I had his phone number, I’d have no problem passing it on to them! :)

Honestly, it would be nice if those miserable scumbags got caught by some really harsh folks and had to suffer with some brutal electric shocks for ages. Then again, nah, that’s just wasting power for nothing.

This morning, I got a call from a guy who sounded asian, said he was from the company I use to insure my sky boxes. He claimed they could cut my premium by £2 every month if I gave them my bank details. I just ended the call straight away. Be careful if you get a call like this!

This is not just an ordinary call. These scammers attach numbers to international calls to give the appearance that it is a genuine number. The number in question is 0018052015. If we closely examine the format, we can observe that it remains the same regardless of any changes made. If we remove the double zero at the beginning, we are left with 18052015, which indicates the date of 18th May 2015. These scammers are adept at trickery, but their tactics are not foolproof. All scam calls, where there is no possibility of calling them back, use random numbers. Although they may change their numbers, the scams themselves remain the same. They are after our money and will continue to make attempts. However, as I did not verify the information they had about me, the lady on the call abruptly ended it after asking if I had a disease. Undoubtedly, they will try again tomorrow, only to discover that I have permanently blocked their number.

Someone rang up pretending to be from British Gas, saying they’d started a new call centre in Manila. They claimed I owed £898.32 and demanded my credit card details, threatening that if I didn’t pay, ‘men’ would come round to confiscate my belongings - even mentioning the family dog! I told the caller they’d got the wrong person and that I'd report them to both British Gas and the police. If you get a call like this, just hang up - they’re scammers after your card info. Honestly, the UK government needs to do something to crack down on these fraudsters.
